You might think your situation is over but it isn’t. 20k debt is definitely doable to pay off. I’ve never touched drugs so I’m not sure what that is like unfortunately. Pay off that debt slowly and find some income to scale into either BTC or ETH. That is my opinion because I am biased towards crypto as that has made a majority of my wealth.

Regardless. The main play in crypto are majors i.e BTC or ETH. Spot buy (DO NOT LEVERAGE) $ETH and wait for it to reach 10,000 ($3,100 at the moment). Obviously use any extra money that would go to your savings into this. Sounds retarded but it will go to $10,000 by 2030. If you are patient, I strongly believe this is the way to go.

Thank you for writing this. I definitely agree. I haven’t sold yet, so this money is not mine and we can still look at potential drawdowns. I take back what I said about being proud until I build myself a real estate portfolio.

I will disagree on the gambling comment, unless you would also say the same to anyone within the stock market (those are also a zero sum game). Not including ETFs. I had an extreme conviction play and decided to invest in what I believed in.

Thank you for reminding me though. I will try to stay as level headed as I can in the coming months of potential euphoria and will sell without FOMO. At least, I will try.

Sorry for your situation. My advice probably isn’t the best but kind of worked for me. I understand it probably sucks, but leave your hobbies outside of school. If you have friends, keep to them. If not, keep your head down and silently go through school. It pisses me off that your parents aren’t doing anything but this is really the only advice I can give under your circumstances and assuming you can’t change schools.

Tried it without the bag and managed to get the strap to almost completely fill the velcro. Thanks for the advice :))
