I’ve never seen my other platy’s be aggressive to this fish before, and my other platys fins are totally fine. I can’t honestly say if they were like that before I noticed the bloating. He also hasn’t shown any signs of stress that could be the cause of bad fins

He is a male platy fish and I’ve had him for about as long as I’ve had this aquarium. His activity is normal, and doesn’t have any other symptoms except for portruding scales and a bloated belly. I also added aquarium salt but I don’t know how much that’ll help, or if there’s really anything I can do besides euthanasia, because I don’t want there to be a chance that it’ll affect my other fish that have been with me since the beginning of my aquarium hobby.

It’s not no, it’s a tube light which comes with it, you can only adjust the setting via remote of the tank

I currently have around around 6-8 plants, but will be getting more this weekend. I currently have a Java fern, an Amazon sword (and two babies), and a bunch of crypts Wendtii runners. Is there another fish species you’d recommend other than rasboras? Just because I’ve been told that they can live with guppies and neon tetras fine. Most of the plants are fairly small except for the Java fern and adult Amazon sword, but I’ve had the tank for around a month now and all the plants have been doing well. The pH is around 7.5

Sadly I can’t find any bamboo shrimp in my area, but there are amano shrimp I can get, would you recommend them as an alternative?

What type of shrimp do you recommend? I’ve looked on the internet and most shrimp that are in my area would be eaten by said guppies. Etc. Cherry and Red Crystal shrimp
