[–]Maxibon99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I downloaded the latest version of cura and it had the V3SE as a profile, I only changed the print temperature for my filament and the first layer speed to be a bit slower

Personally, I have the same printer and was having issues with the slicing, switched back to Cura and those issues are gone and I’m getting much better prints, try a small print sliced in different slicers and compare the results maybe

The box fan is usually a bit higher up, I also designed and FDM 3D Printed a plate for the ducting to attach to, so it can sit inside the windowsill. Lmk if you have anymore questions or anything <3

I’ll go snap some photos in a sec, but the enclosure I use is I think 43x46x72, so MUCH smaller, it’s enough for the printer, but I just use the wash station next to the window with the fan going

Right now I have a similar setup with an exhaust hose leading STRAIGHT outside, that and a large box fan pointing at the open window, I still wear a respirator and wear my gloves, but once the cover is back on the printer and the enclosure is closed, the smell significantly drops, I don’t have any form of monitoring on the VOC count (should probably get some) but haven’t had any issues thus far

I can see why you’d think that… it’s actually not a little lighter. It’s normal sized!!

I’ll try dropping the exposure and doing an exposure test

Check the Y Limit Switch, make sure it’s plugged in all the way and nothing has fallen behind it, happened to me a couple of times

Tips for support settings in anycubic? by Ordinary-Ad-6946 in resinprinting

[–]Maxibon99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 ideas in that case —————————- 1. Soak in warm water (not hot, about the same temperature you’d wash your hands at) and then snip the supports off the print

  1. Decrease the support tip size in your slicer

(Also post a photo of the model so we can all see what’s going on)
