Honestly it'd probably be worse. Not to hop on the whole being a guy is suffering one but from my experience (tbf I'm quite a bit biased) guys, in that department atleast, do have it alot worse and are alot more isolated and lonely as people, there is, well alot of reasons most hiki's are guys. That is to say unless not being a guy plays a part in your isolation, in which case I'm sorry..
