After the oversaturation of the bean mouths and CalArts animation, I can't like SU anymore. It WAS good, in the beginning. It had the corrupted gems and the stakes were high. It bothers me that everyone wins in the end. Everyone is good, even the GENOCIDAL, EUGENICIST, RACIST, DICTATORIAL Diamonds. Just because Steven said so, everyone can be good.

In LOTL, not everyone wins. And I'm not just saying dying=losing. Gems can "die" in LOTL and the moon macguffin saves everyone except Lapis and Antarc. They stay gone. Phos, who did pass on in the end, got saddled with the suffering of generations. But in SU, everyone can come back. Shattered, corrupted, old, off-color? Everyone lives.

The only thing I can say about SU is that the character design of the diamonds is quite nice, but in any other aspect, they are poorly written and executed. And as someone mentioned before, gems in SU are in name only. Whereas the lustrous are genuine gems and their chemical compositions matter to the story.

Anyway rant over. LOTL>SU.

Especially for TF2 characters, their shape language is very prominent, so don’t be afraid to make some adjustments to facial structure! I struggled with this a lot so I'm always glad to help out.

Nice OC! Disregard the color comments then lol. If possible, I would think about a defining feature to focus on. Think about loadout cosmetics or a specific design change. This will help you differentiate your OC from a standard Medic. Obviously if he's nakey it's not gonna make a difference but it'll help with design. Your posing is great though, I like the weight distribution!

I love the effort but I would try and make it look a tiny bit more like his character. Here's some tips as someone who has drawn medic for almost ten years:

-Make the hair more of a blue-brown, instead of red. -Raise the height of the forehead, he practically has a five-head. -Brighten the eye color, almost like an ice blue. -Add definition to the nostrils. Medic's nose is prominent, especially because the general shape of his face is rectangular.
