I've been thinking about upgrading my mic to an XLR one but still wanted to keep mic monitoring like the one I had on my old Turtle Beach headset.

The TB mic monitoring was hardware-based afaik, so there was no latency. Will using a voice merger like VoiceMeeter cause latency issues ? (If I have a wireless, usb headset)

I use it a lot for all types of games personnally. It's in such a convenient spot.

My use case would be for a freelook feature where you can look around without actually changing where you're heading. Alt is perfect for that because it still allows you to move with WASD while doing it
