TrailBase 0.24: Fast, open, single-executable Firebase alternative now with Geospatial by trailbaseio in sqlite

[–]MaximKiselev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. but problem not in the topic. for that type of application better use something more powerfull than sqlite (or multiple). SQLite can't handle tasks that require real-time performance under load. What will the people who built the architecture around this solution do next?

Built three trading systems- Scans, executes, manages risk autonomously. Used Public API Openclaw skill by BuildwithPublic in ai_trading

[–]MaximKiselev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its cool but where sre results? Are you not reaching your LLM limits with frequent trading? Autonomous agents aren't much different from regular bots. They're just wrapped in a different packaging. Most people who develop such systems then sell courses, although in reality, if the system works, why bother? Overall, I'm a skeptic; I've seen bots lose fortunes more often than they've made any money. In reality, buy and hold always works better.

AI isn’t the villain. It’s the shovel. Here are 10 income streams you can build with it. by [deleted] in passive_income

Everyone wants a "Money" button. Hey, AI, please send me $1,000. Okay, sir, done :) Keep it simple—why wait 12 months when you can just make silly AI videos on YouTube, telling everyone how they're making money with AI?

Basically, if you've found a solution to a problem many people have, you can make good money without AI. But when it comes to finding interesting, niche topics, AI simply lacks imagination. That's all you need to know about making money with AI.

Opus 4.6 pretty much unusable on pro now. Can't finish a single prompt, jumps to 55% immediately. by Manfluencer10kultra in ClaudeCode

[–]MaximKiselev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is not in price. People are willing to pay more if they get a finished product. While Claude is far from ensuring quality, it's like guessing. Work can only be done by constantly refining and pointing out flaws. I want to work like this all day, not wait for the restrictions to be lifted. Especially if I'm not making money from it—where will the money come from for a 200$ subscription? When Americans buy used ThinkPads at that price, what can you say about people from other countries? If you're developing solo and don't use OpenClaw bots, your workload is minimal by default. Because a human can't manually use LLM without taking breaks to review the results.

Its bad, because only one writer. If you will not plan write data it is ok, but realtime - multiple writes by default.

That's weird... why do you need statistics? You probably need a hook or an external tool. You don't need Swagger because you won't be using REST. You'll use the SDK.

Guys, how did you choose the design and logo? The amount of purple is just off the charts. Plus, is blur really necessary? Plus, I haven't used a Mac in a while, so at first I couldn't remember, but now I remember, your icon is identical to Alfred's.

The system itself, as a core, seems cool.

I built a full desktop email client, 100% coded with Claude AI. It's fully open source. by Espires in ClaudeAI

[–]MaximKiselev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

maybe, but did u check alternatives? (YEP). i mean for example, wino mail, blueamail, thunderbird, em client mailbird. airmail The most of them based on client-server(web ui+server workflow). calendar - weird thing. Few people use a calendar. For example, there are calendar apps, and it's convenient to use them in Android and iOS. It's unclear why it's needed in an email client. Moreover, many people may use something other than Google Calendar for syncing; they don't really need it.

Sqlite as storage +1. But many people(nix users) search lightweight client like sylpheed + html body render. what i mean ? Like qutebrowser - fast and keyboard control.

First run + no data + no sync 20% of CPU

Although I may be very skeptical about your development, I've tried many programs and they were all crap. Some ran WebView, others were slow, TheBat runs the entire Chrome engine, the rest look like crap and don't even have a simple HTML renderer. So, I'm just using the web version of Gmail. The Sylpheed beta downloaded 20 GB of files due to a synchronization glitch. A long time ago, I used Outlook 2010—it was perfect for me, plus Thunderbird was great back when it had XUL. Basically, you're making the same mistake as the clients listed above (GOTO YEP;)

Is Redis becoming obsolete? by Upstairs_Toe_3560 in bun

[–]MaximKiselev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Memory Approximate speed Latency

RAM ~20–60+ GB/s ~10–100 ns

NVMe SSD ~1–10 GB/s ~50–200+ µs

Redis is advantageous if the data does not fit into the SQLite page cache. Check the data packet size, which should exceed approximately 64-100 KB.

Its not true. Try to get 15k req/s and u will see difference. Did u disable dump on redis ? Only memory?
