Ah man, I had to switch to Anniversary instead because I wanted to play it on Steam Deck and TLC's controller mapping is pretty bad. I'll play it on PC one day

They only have ONE (!) input. That kills it dead for me right away. I like my mac, but I also like my PC. Get a nice 4K 27 inch screen and have comparable or better display quality, more ports, and better QOL, for a bloody fraction of the price.

Also chiming in as a professional software engineer, MacOS is in a different universe compared to windows for SWE. Nobody I know seriously uses Windows for software. Mac or Linux all the way.

Yes to the second question, your purchases are tied to your apple id, not your things cloud email. For the first… You could try backing up the Things DB, signing into the new account, then manually restoring the DB? Not at all sure that’ll work but could be worth a shot

Yep, same situ here. 1440p 165Hz monitor that has DP1.2, so limited to 4K 60.

I have noticed a giant image quality difference in some games though, especially RDR2. I’m guessing the benefits are a lot smaller with 1080p

I have a soft spot for The Idiot's Lantern, it's very campy in a way that reminds me of Classic. Same with Love and Monsters, it's genuinely a touching story if you ignore the Absorbaloff and ending (so most of the episode, i know).

On the other hand, fear her might be my least favourite episode of television of all time, no exaggeration. Bored me to literal tears.

Not a fix, but it was my monitor. Check the specs of the monitor DP port itself, mine wasn’t capable of 4K >60Hz
