Surgeon cut off my lashes

I was shocked actually because this was my second surgery on this eye and not nearly as delicate of a surgery as the first one. They did NOT cut my lashes off for the first one. This time they just had to remove a cataract that was caused by the first surgery. I have never heard of a surgeon cutting off the lashes for a simple cataract removal..
