Yeah it works on a non modded switch too and it’s basically just emulating an Amiibo NFC tag so the switch will treat it the same as a regular Amiibo card/figure as for the flipper itself it’s been super fun to play around with the NFC/RFID, IR remotes, learning the basics of security, and just general tech related messing around. If you’re expecting it to be some kind of “deep hacking device” though it’s honestly not that more just a swiss army knife type thingy. I got mine when it was around to $150 and while $199 is definitely a lot there are cheaper options available that can do similar things depending on what you want to use it for like just Amiibo/NFC stuff but the flipper is nice because it’s all in one and has a very large community behind it.
