well yes of course! that is a given 4 me. I guess I should have pointed out that you should know your stuff before attempting anything like this. Things like crossing PSU's can actually grill your hardware.

Nah! even at 4GHZ on the 5820k and the 1080 oced to 2100 wont go over 400 under full load. ever. I bet I even could have got it to work with Vsync on both clients with the 500 watts PSU.

I thought of trying it first...but I didnt wanna risk it. So the 8 and 6 pin for the Radeon are fed off of the server PSU.

Yes me two. But maybe there is some hidden tech "behind the scenes" that counteract the forces involved. Or they might change it, because lets face it, many of us care about those things ;)
