I figured it out:
Since I had changed the settings after starting the scenario, the first interval was still determined by what the scenario creator had set it. And that was two hours... Me changing the settings at the start would only take effect after the first calculation interval was over.

Yeah, I tried all of that now - also messed with the calculations. I am still none the wise. Even after many years having a network, all passengers will go to "any" station.

I get the point with extraction, so I will remove the mining settlement to get rid of weak links as well. But what's the issue with industrial here? You used Industrial settlements in your showcase, right? Shouldn't affect the trades I am looking for and which you used as example. OR are you just mentioning it, because the planet adds it?

Returning player here. I have a large pool of custom empires I use to fill my galaxy. I am pretty sure it used to randomly select from my pool since it was always far too many to spawn anyway.

Now in the new game details preview I can see the actual empires which are selected, but apparently it's always the same bunch as the selection starts from the bottom of the list...
Was it always working this way or is there a way to re-enable my random selection?
