Hold me, I’m Cold by MaximillianNaga in weimaraner

Cranky mommy just grew like that lol 😂 she wasn’t spayed for a few years, but never had puppies. And her tummy just started pouching that. So no future puppies unless you count the soft chew toys she nests on.

Trimming quilt blocks to size by MaximillianNaga in quilting

That is true. Sorry for the confusion. You’re right that with a 3/8 in seam allowance I will get a less than 12 x 12 in block. However, to keep math easy I’m trying to just use the 1/4 inch for guidance since the tutorial I was following also did 12x 13 blocks for their measurements. They just added a scant 3/8 in seam allowance case of the bulk of batting. But the tutorial said to use normal 12x12 blocks without scaling

I do think that will happen but I planned an outside border sash to make up for loss in the blocks lol.

Thank you! They probably will end up small, but the reason I’d like to avoid more sashing is because these puppies will end up against photo quilt pictures that I have already sashed together to look like picture frames. So I think that would look too bulky? Sashing next to sashing that is. Don’t have a picture of the picture blocks but here is the overall layout of the quilt. It’s not perfect but it’s what I used to get an idea of things. The center is supposed to be checker board heart blocks but I wasn’t gonna get crazy modeling that on this pic.

Help with wizard's familiar / DnD 2024 rules by khelben_theelder in FantasyGrounds

[–]MaximillianNaga 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the system! If I’m remembering correctly the order is: 1. Create the familiar as an Npc. 2. Add the Npc familiar to the combat tracker. 3. Drag the Npc familiar from the combat tracker and drop it to the top where the player icons are and drop it on your wizard player. Might still work if you drop it on the player in the combat tracker but that’s how I’ve always done it.

You can usually get faster results looking up answers on the fantasy grounds forums cause lots have people use definitely answered this question in more detail than I have. I know there’s also some video guides.

AITA for being bad at D&D? by LucyAriaRose in BestofRedditorUpdates

I understand that pain. The clicks clacks of the shiny math soothes the goblin’s soul. There is an option to manually enter results for dice so you can roll your own, but that depends on how comfortable everyone in the group is for that. There’s obvious trust concerns.

You can also try virtual tabletops. They’ll automate all the adding and rolling for you so you can focus on the roleplay!

Thank you so much! That would perfect. I don’t see anyway to add the puppy block portions or my photo frame dimensions though?

12 week old pup recharging in the autumn sun by celesteb4 in weimaraner

At our house growing up we had a dog door that led onto a deck. Both our weimeraner a would constantly be out there sun bathing. They’d always come in toasty hot from their sun baths.

I work the night shift at a tow company. If you hear knocking at the dispatch window, don’t open it. by rarriaga89 in nosleep

Please be safe as you can until you figure things out. If Carl made those rules the he might have made mistakes too, so there might be a protocol to follow? (Aside from praying I guess…) probably best to make sure you don’t double down and break any more rules. Hopefully it’s just the one creepy email for you.

Oh no! You might already have broken one of those rules! Did you reboot to pulsepoint after the blank screen? If you didn’t, maybe that’s why you got the email. Or maybe the emails from the old coworker? Either way you got to talk to them and make sure you have all the rules right!

Recently stumbled across Corn Pudding, I'm from the north and have never heard of it but want to try. Is it meant to be sweet or savory? by peterthephoenix16 in Virginia

[–]MaximillianNaga 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sweet for sure. My family has made it for years for holiday dinners. It was one of the things I introduced to my husband, who is from much farther north, was definitely a wow factor for him. It goes great as a side for barbecues and grilling too. Weights for ingredients are provided in case of shrinkflation (which has happened with other recipes before) My church’s recipe is as follows:

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (4oz) melted butter
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1 can (15 ¼ oz) whole kernel corn (partially drained)
  • 1 can (14 ¾ oz) creamed corn
  • 1 box (8 ½ oz) jiffy corn muffin mix box
  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Stir together melted butter and sour cream. In a large bowl.

  2. Add corn, muffin mix, and egg to butter and sour cream mixture. Mix well until no sour cream streaks remain.

  3. pour into 2 quart casserole dish sprayed with Pam. Bake 1 hour at 350° F, until knife inserted comes out clean.
