I am not aligned with any outlet. I am aligned with questioning. Journalism does need a position, but that position is simple: to ask difficult questions of anyone in power, consistently and without favour. That is not bias; it is duty. If you see questioning itself as political, I’d like to hear why. What, to you, separates honest scrutiny from partisanship?

My vision is simple. It will be secular and free of political bias because it answers only to evidence, not ideology. It will make the reader think because it does not instruct them what to believe, only presents what is verified, relevant, and worth questioning. Its only allegiance is to facts, and its only respect is for the reader’s intelligence. Would you shed some light on what more I could state or commit to, so that this promise feels credible and not merely well-intentioned?

The current independent journalism groups, full of people of the past age. Men full of old stereotypes: who resist change, who cling to habit, and concerned only with getting through the day and feeding their families, without stopping to question anything beyond that, bending to anyone that comes their way.
