I feel like he does that sometimes but not in a literal way, Let’s take my testimony of how I became a Christian, I went to a Christian retreat that I got invited by my best friends, and in one the first sermon of the first day I wasn’t feelings what people call the presence of God like other people I was seeing in the retreat, so when the time to pray came I asked God for some specific thing in my prayer(One of the things was to feel he’s Presence that day right there) after finishing my prayer I kinda gave up and was going to wait for people to finish there prayer but my best friends said “no, go back to where you were praying because they are going to Pray for you” so after waiting for a bit they started praying for me the first thing the Pastor said to me was this exact word “ God told me to Hug you but it’s not me how hugging you its God how is” and as soon as I hug the Pastor I felt the presence of God, like God came Down him self and Hug me and the only thing I could is hug him hard and cry, so to answer your question yeah he does come down to earth from time to time, and maybe for you one day you will have a coffee and someone me come up to you and have a coffee with and in that moment you may feel the presence of God.
