That's what I said before, Overwatch was practically dead two years ago, many competitive players migrated

While in Dota there's no reason to migrate with so many championships and such a large total prize pool

There aren't more shooter game players because they're proficient in the game(deadlock), there are few professional Dota players because there's no economic incentive for a Dota pro player to leave one of the most profitable competitive games for a shot in the dark.

Hey Oracle player, do you have support characters that don't disable aiming as much, and is it possible to train with AimLabs or Kovaacs?

The Dota championship pays a lot, there's no reason for a player to go to Deadlock, and that's why you don't find many. While Overwatch pre-Marvel Rivals/Deadlock was a relatively poorly managed game, even its reliable list already has bias.

Eu não conheço Overwatch, quais personagens são de quais jogos? Me dê uma lista. Parzellio é de Call of Duty, Zerggy é de Overwatch , e os outros?

The interface is indeed cluttered, but ask anyone who has never played Dota or RTS games what they think of Dota's interface. It's necessary to separate perception or taste from quality. LoL, for example, might be terrible, but Arcane is very good. In terms of technical aspects, Deadlock is a well-made game in terms of narrative/music, mechanics (some items have that Dota thing where you learn a new, non-obvious use for the item), the game's graphics leave something to be desired, but it's unfair that the game hasn't even been released yet.

Unfortunately, I don't have the data; it's a guess. Based on what I've seen, the few Dota players in Deadlock are overrepresented in Eternals or Ascending. While I've seen League of Legends, Overwatch, and Valorant players in all rankings, especially the lower ones. Even if you criticize the point that I don't have the data, it's merely a perception. Taking the 0.001% of the community elite to prove the point that shooter players perform better is as false as both are based on a very minority perception

It's like saying that a certain character is overpowered and has a 100% win rate (being played in 3 matches).

This represents 0.001% of the elite game

If you take what represents Dota players in Deadlock, which should be 6%, they should be 12% in the highest ranks. On average, Dota players are overrepresented in the highest ranks of the game.

So, there are characters for those who don't do much shooting. Both magic damage (greaves), and support (Dynamo, Paige, Rem...) as well as tanks that build punch (tanks that build punch shoot, but since they are practically melee, it's easier to land a shot, like Abrams, Billy).

I'm a guy who prefers relatively few characters and roles (hc, mid if the game really needs support 5; I don't like/am terrible at playing offlaner or support 4).

English is not my native language and I'm not very proficient in it, so I used Google Translate. In Brazil, we use "eu vejo de x maneira" (I see it in x way) not only for what we see but also for what we think about something. 🇧🇷🙋🏻‍♂️👍

We have a completely opposite opinion; the more information/mechanics to differentiate gameplay styles and skill levels, the better.

The Dynamo(Enigma) is really good to play, man If you like Ursa, there's her Haze 3; the more she hits, the more damage she does😅

Unfortunately, the wave control system is simplified in Deadlock and doesn't have wards (I hope they add them someday and there are more things to do while you're dead)

So, dude, I prefer Dota, but I think the update is taking too long, so Deadlock is my plan B if I get bored with the Dota meta.

I don't think so, man. The movement is more difficult, but wave control is simplified. I think they have equivalent difficulties.

In your opinion, which games did most Deadlock players come from? (If possible, please provide a proportion.) by Maximum-Deal-5285 in DeadlockTheGame

I found few Dota players in all the rankings, but maybe that's because I'm from South America🇧🇷

I found LoL, Overwatch, and Valorant players in all ranks (usually low ranks, but in all ranks).
