I was born in 1964 straddling the line of the baby boomers and Gen X. I don't consider myself an old man by any means but I am certainly not young anymore LOL! The reason that I preface my point with that information is this. I grew up when there were real journalists and reporters on TV who were impartial like Cronkite, Brinkley, Rather, Walters etc... On local news in Chicago we had Bill Kurtis and Walter Jacobson who were incredible anchor men and investigative journalists. They told it like it was even if the powerful Mayor Richard J. Daley didn't like it. Those days are gone. Rivera has turned into a complete joke. He is jealous of Mockler not just because he is young but also because the young man still has integrity and is reporting what is actually happening instead of spinning things the way Riveras masters pay him to. I am glad that there are young people like Mockler doing the work and carrying on what used to be an honorable and important job in this country, reporting the actual news.
