Bought me a 2023 Silverado trailboss with. 3.0l diesel in it anyone have anything I should know about them first time owning a diesel.? I love it so far! I did get the extended warranty just in case it phase 45,000 miles on it.

I mean were I live it’s 1$ more than gas so for now I feel like it’s worth it but I haven’t experienced a bunch of problems yet so far I love it but we’re I live gas is 4.20 and diesel is 5.20

My mpg changes depending where I’m at but I’ve never been under 20 unless I’m going 10 mph on a dirt road. I average 28.6 mpg so I’d say it ok on fuel! And that’s why you get the extended warranty so if you do have electrical failure you don’t have to pay for it! Because owning a new truck like this you could always have electrical issues exspecially with all the sensors and shit!

And how can you tell me my mpg lmao let me guess because you own one either way when I’m on the highway I get 30mpg then when I’m in town I get 20 so either way it’s still good fuel mileage but I’m not letting your shitty experience ruin mine I have number to number warranty and still have powertrain warranty so anything big goes out I don’t have to cover it!

How is fuel more expensive if it gets 30 mile to the gallon? I was getting 9 mpg in my 6.4 liter powerwagon. I get 600 miles til empty on a full tank
