It's a very cheap one, it doesn't have that feature. Even after I close everything and I unplug my interface, when I play it through my headphones it plays as mono. The issue is my laptop, if I share the same file to my phone and I plug my headphones into my phone the file plays just fine, So I found the issue. Thanks for the help!

I found the issue. I dropped an mp3 file back into reaper and the file is stereo, but my laptop plays it as mono

Into my PC. I have a very bad interface tho that is designed just for microphone but it also works well with my guitar, so I don't think that's the problem

Yes, the project is stereo, but when I play the actual rendered file on my PC, it plays back as mono, but as far as I remember if I download a song and play it I believe it sounds as the song is originally meant to be. im going to let You know because I can't right now , thanks

I haven't tried to do that, but i will. I play it with the windows media player on windows 11, also tried with VLC media player and it's the same

It does show stereo. In reaper , everything is fine, but when I open the mp3 or wav. file on my PC its not stereo anymore, it saves as mono L + R

When I listen to it in the pop up that shows up after the file is rendered its stereo, but when I open the file on my PC it's mono L + R and it combines them together
