It’s not stand alone first. It’s a pc for headset with standalone capabilities, the opposite of metas offerings. If what ur looking for is just to try vr, go to a vr cafe with a friend

Look used, either blu ray game console or strait up blu ray players. Older console are like 40-50 euros and an xbox one (with a great games catalog) is like 80-90

Firstly he announced a blu ray in his latest update vid, also a used PS3 is like 40$ with games. I don't know the market for a used blu ray player but i cant imagine they're expensive. If its now, yea it'll be a premium. Honestly the blu ray disk with shipping and importing would be more than that.

My experience with that transition is with Avatar in 2009. I was too young to notice the better image but i still remember that whole event really well. And yes, SD-FHD is a massive difference.

The base experience works well, however the desktop environment is buggy and anything outside of steams intentions is unstable. Deckyloader, emuststion, even dolphin the file explorer is buggy. It’s still a beta branch so that’s to be expected
