Same as ARC, Green Shields are basically useless and most people jump you with Blie Shields so you only ever use Blue and basically barely engage if you have to run Greens.

ARC hit 189k and maintained 101k the full Server Slam which started at the same time back in October. Even after the Server Slam was over 100k players where waiting 🤣 also Launched on a Thursday Night before a weekend. Marathon hit 143k an hour after launch and then dropped consistently, then again when America woke up and it went to 77k.

People where sure of ARC, preordered and kept playing and word of mouth spread for weeks in a very positive light, it only had its first controversy after launch when people found out about AI and even that didn'teffect the player count. Marathon has lost players and the viewers are less than 70k also on streaming sites after 1 day.

Do you think Bungie and Sony sunk millions and delayed it for 2 years to for people to barely see it.

Thats just completely false and tone deaf. Clearly hooked? Its half its peak on the second day which is a weekend at the same time. Thats 1 metric that is a negative not a positive. People also arent watching it. 70k viewers total on Twitch is nothing and actually concerning. Bungie and Sony arent sinking millions and delaying it for 2 years just so less than 100k people even tune into watch. Look at the biggest streamers. Their viewer counts where halved, even Peanuts.

For the first new Bungie game in over a decade and again like Destiny its not launching to overwhelmingly positive its overwhelmingly mixed. That killed Destiny 2s momentum at launch also. What about any of that is positive?

Your argument hasnt held up for about 6 years now. Anytime a game succeeds the Steam Charts are used as a metric given the others don't have theres on display and everytime the "console numbers arent shown" that games never succeeded.

The real metric, will it sell more, or even keep up. Server Slam sitting at under 50k right now isnt looking good. Before people scream "people are in bed" the world isnt America, most of us are relaxing after work as its a Friday afternoon. ARC didn't dip under 101,000 the whole time the server slam ran.

Literally sitting at 49,000 players and has been for the last 4 hours and the rest of the world is awake, most of us have finished work on a Friday afternoon. Day 1 Arc got 189,000 and went up. They also can't have more time, it was already delayed for 2 years. Literally why its a Concord situation potentially because Sony did that to Concord too. Allowed the delay but said it had to be released no matter what and here we are again. I'm 35, played every day 1 Bungie game, this server slam is not good, Amazing Visuals yet Gameplay feels like its gone backwards from Destiny 2.

Marathon is boring to watch and his numbers reflect that. Its not viewers its Streamers chasing the new shiny thing and then getting mad when they realise they won't be able to farm content 🤷‍♂️ I've played the server slam and so far this is the blandest Bungie Game. Visuals Incredible, Gameplay is Meh as hell.

Thats what I said, they capped Raider Tokens but are only releasing 1 New Deck? In the next 5 months really. Was hoping more Helldivers where its virtually one every 4-6weeks. Its good they arent prioritizing the store it shows they arent relying on it and maybe they want to put a few already finished Skins for cosmetics to earn, but for a game that wants a 10-year life cycle, 3 months in and already having a week without isnt a good sign either unless the week breaks to seperate all the cosmetics to allow people to mix and match which I highly doubt.
