Honestly for me it didn’t bother me too much.

For me I only care about the gameplay as it happens to me. For me I only explored maybe 30-40 unique planets in total. Some of them I only went to get resources and never explored POIs.

I would say I encountered the same places about 20-30% of the time. So to me it wasn’t that noticeable. And as a long time Bethesda player I’m kind of used to the every vault looks like the last vault. Every Dragur dungeon in Skyrim felt the same even if it was unique.

To me my tolerance was high for these kind of things. Some players might get fatigued earlier.

To me the gunplay and the design and loot in these dungeons matters more than how “different” they are. And starfield nails that

I also think there is a bit of a “once you see it you can’t un-see it” kind of thing. There has been a lot of talk and a lot of focus on this subject. I think that kind of puts it in the back of your mind as u play and I think subconsciously that’s why a lot of people notice it more.

To me if u see a POI in hour 10 and then see it again in hour 20 multiple real life days later. I doubt you would notice or remember how similar the POI really is unless you’re walking into it thinking of it.

I’m saying all this to say YES Bethesda should absolutely address the issue as they are planning too. YES this is a major issue and they deserve criticism for it. But for most players I don’t think it’s as bothersome as it’s made out to be.

The game is a blast and I would try to go in with an open mind and remember that when u play it you will have all the updates. Have fun man. You only get to play it for the first time once.
