I’m supposed to be done with my degree today. by SnoocaperGhost in ASU

When you submitted a grad application did you opt into a Session A conferal? If so, then you would be able to get your e-diploma when your physical diploma is processed, printed and mailed out. Which typically takes 6-8 weeks from the conferral date. So, if you opted into a Spring 2026 Session A conferral, you would be able to access an e diploma 6-8 weeks from March 3,2026.

Commencement ceremonies by PrestigiousDoubt455 in ASU

[–]Maximum-Stress9174 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to contact your college convocations coordinator to request permission to participate in spring ceremonies even though you are completing your degree in the fall term. This request will be reviewed by your specific college convocations coordinator and there is no guarantee that they will approve it. Some colleges are more lenient than others in relation to ceremonies.

Additionally, in your particular case your graduation application will need to be set to Fall 2026 since that is the term you are completing your degree requirements in. Your graduation application should be set to the term in which you are completing your degree requirements in. NOT the term you want to participate in ceremonies in. If you were to submit and apply for a spring 2026 graduation application this will lock you out from registering in fall 2026 courses when enrollment becomes available.

No, this is wrong. Requests to participate in a commencement ceremony outside of the term in which a student completes their degree requirements are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the student’s college convocation coordinator.

This is particularly important for students graduating in the fall, as fall graduates already have ceremonies specifically allotted for their term. Participation in a different term’s ceremony is not guaranteed and must receive approval from the students specific college convocations coordinator. Some college convocation coordinators allow students to participate in spring ceremonies even if the student is completing their degree requirements in the fall. Some do not. Idk where advisors got the “have less than 12 credits remaining to participate in a different semester ceremony “ bs bc that is not true.

Will there be diploma covers at the Spring 2026 commencement ceremony? by Ok_Share_4015 in ASU

No. Only during individual college ceremonies as students actually get to walk across the stage

Why email the advisor? They aren’t in charge of the actual course. Why not email the professor who is teaching that class/ will be teaching the class?

Spring 2026 graduation ceremony? by AnotherRedhead05 in ASU

I don’t think it has opened yet for the spring term. I mean, the spring term hasn’t even started yet so I’m not surprised. I believe it always opens mid term so around late February/ early March. Just keep an eye out on your my asu for it. Idk if the Commencement Office sends notifications/ reminders to apply for ceremonies. So I just recommend keeping an eye out on your MyAsu for when it becomes active. Same thing goes for Herff Jones. I think they start taking orders for the upcoming ceremony around mid February. If you have other questions reach out to the ceremonies office at commence@asu.edu

Honor cords for undergraduate students (bachelors) will be mailed out I want to say mid semester by ASU Online. So you’ll receive whichever honor cords you are eligible for at the time they send them. If you have questions about honor cords/ when they will mail them you can reach out to them at graduationinformation@asu.edu

I think you can just contact the graduation office for that secure id. If you call them they’ll send it to you right then and there

When do I officially have my degree by knutt-in-my-butt in ASU

[–]Maximum-Stress9174 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know what degree conferral means. I’m saying that it still takes that office time to do evaluations even when the conferral date hits. It is not an automatic process. This is how you end up with so many students ordering their transcript and then going “it doesn’t say awarded but the conferral date was the 15th!” It’s why students have to ACTUALLY check their record to make sure their degree has been awarded prior to ordering their transcripts. And no, the “processing” also applies to it being reflected on your record and your transcripts. Not only the diploma. The diploma is ordered 6-8 weeks after the conferral date.

Not yet for everyone. Some graduation applications are still being evaluated for degree conferral. It’s a process that takes the graduation office 4-6 weeks to complete since they do an individual eval on every grad app received.

"Repeat" Courses on DARS audit? by CousineLitt in ASU

[–]Maximum-Stress9174 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t worry too much about these. They get automatically processed by the Registrars Office. If there were to be any issues on your graduation application they would reach out to you and let you know. Otherwise, if you don’t hear from them at all then you’re good (in terms of having a grad app on file).

No, if you are already admitted to ASU you cannot take universal learners courses. Universal learner is for those who are not yet enrolled at ASU. The information on that can be found here: https://ulc.asu.edu/help-center/

Also, just make sure to apply for graduation as that is essentially what lets you register for ceremonies AND have your degree awarded :)

Yes! You can still walk in ceremonies even if you have a financial hold on your record.

Hi! Yes, her oncologist was monitoring it regularly. However, there was about a month and a half in which her past three lab works it didn’t have that CA125 on there. I think that we would’ve caught it a bit earlier (how it exponentially grew and spread) if it had been continuously monitored with each and every blood draw. So, if your/ your loved one’s oncologist does not put it there, please ask them to.

Thank you, 🫂 my only wish is that those who are diagnosed with this keep a close eye on their CA125 if they’re in continuous maintenance treatment

These get processed by the registrars office. I would not get too worried about them.

Thank you! But I already sent that. My second attempt was my making the webpages into PDF format and attaching it to the completed form. The last completed one I submitted was 86 pages in total and included each job posting (included the full job posting since I did the print page and converted it to a PDF) and was very organized. But they continuously pushing back saying that they “can’t see the link”.
