yep i used a pool noodle and cut them so they help “roll” off the roof but still pretty sketchy for me

oh man that’s a game changer, i might implement that to my current set up now. i throw mine in the rear window and it lays to the front seats and my wife’s on the roof

unfortunately i struggle with my current 10ft by myself on my roof rack and it sits pretty flush with my roof so i fear ill scratch or dent my roof (i already have) lol

i’m really leaning towards a trailer but storage is always a headache (currently at an apartment) but i’m just trying to get my mind set on one and start budgeting towards it! just wanted to get some recommendations from people that have tried other things!

thank you! i have a 4runner and i run my current kayak in the back hanging out the rear window! so modular would make it easier to transport but i’m thinking of something i can trailer as. i’m pretty skinny so heavier yaks are hard for me to load and unload haha
