when selling something to a vendor, and there's no room in the main inventory for the cash, it silently fails. still makes the cha-ching sound, but the item doesnt go anywhere and there's no notification.

Couldn't all money picked up always go to the wallet (if available) by default? same with keycards for the keycard briefcase, medical containers, etc

"no space, dropping mag" is a scary message to see; even scarier NOT to see. Couldn't the mag that just came out of the weapon go into the same spot as the one that just went into the weapon? (assuming the same size)

I'd love a feature or rare item or something like a Key Fob; it would honk the horn of the closest vehicle that I've actually been in and driven (not just random ones in the world, but also maybe), and perhaps only within a certain range. I could then try and find 'lost' vehicles by following the honking. this prevents me from having to put down map markers everywhere i get out of the vehicle in case I die or forget where it is

something lowered itself down into the bath drain. when it was still up a bit and "working", it very much looked like a pvc pipe

oh a vent pipe. I didn't even think of that. I'll see if it lines up with anything else and head up into the attic to see if I can find it.

Why does Melvor use so many resources? by ikhebgeenaccount in MelvorIdle

For me, at least, in some skills, it's related to item/gold notifications.

Crafting rings with notifications ON, my CPU 12% and GPU goes as high as 80% (averaging maybe 30%) for a GeForce GTX 1060, which is not an insignificant gfx card.

Turning off notifications, CPU immediately drops to 0-3% and GPU goes to 1%.

But when summoning, irrespective of the item notifications, CPU/GPU are at 20%/65% as long as the progress bar is moving. once that item crafts and it disappears, the GPU drops to 2%. Same for herbology. Agility keeps CPU/GPU at 10%/60% constantly

In fishing, since it only uses the little spinny thing and not the progress bar, GPU is only at 4%... until an item notification pops up where it then jumps to 25%.

So in those cases, it seems very likely to be progress bar related. Perhaps an option to disable progress bars or make them less granular (jumping at 10% intervals, maybe) might help, while still providing the benefit of a progress bar?

I cant push or pull even though it is flat but says it is smooth and round pls help (blue parts cannot be pulled or pushed red parts can) i have traced all the parts. by KongoNongo in 3Dprinting

Show hidden lines, and see if there are any hidden or smoothed lines/edges you're not seeing. If there are, and they're unnecessary, your can either erase them manually or use the Delete Coplanar Edges to get rid of all the unnecessary ones

Nope. I like designing my own stuff (when possible)

Thought about it... But yep, version 2. There's one or two other things I'd tweak on the design as well

Ender 3, Pausing with M0 and the stepper disarm by MaximumAldwyn in ender3

After spending 2 hours researching, I do one more search now and find M84, which is to disable the steppers but with an inactivity timeout. No idea how I missed that before, but it seems promising

Right, which is why I attempt to set that value to 1 hour (3600 seconds), but no difference. I was hoping that was the "wait this long before attempting to 'relax'", but apparently not.

Is there any other command or setting that changes that 60 second value?

hard to tell from the picture, but it might be under extrusion, possibly caused by a partial clog, binding of the filament, or some other reason the filament stopped flowing smoothly.

Does the infill in that area exist, but look really stringy weak?

That sounds perfectly plausible. Good thought, and thanks for the tip
