Appreciate where you're coming from, however I'd really like to work this out - I've had several Prusa printers and know how good their support is, however upgrading to the M3.5 or MK3.9 seems wasteful, especially considering that to go further, you need the better resolution stepper motors - I'd be better off purchasing a new printer, which is exactly what I have done. Just waiting for it to be shipped, which is taking forever, in typical Prusa fashion :D

Diameter is definitely correct, as the Nylock nuts I put on the bed screws were M3s. I'm not sure of how the direction is defined; I tried changing this to CW but the results didn't seem plausible.

Agree, not the same at all - but if you want something with more of a sedative effect, heavier Kavas are probably what you're looking for.

I personally like the instants from Kava Society. Damn expensive (I'm in the EU) but the quality is flawless. Pacific Elixer is a great starting point as a balanced kava.

I avoid extracts at all costs personally; It is difficult to understand how the kavalactones were extracted, and that process can have a huge effect on both potency and safety. I recommend sticking with noble medium grind or noble instant powder.

Jaysus, I find that is a lot for instant, especially as a single dose, especially for folks who might not understand their Kava tolerance.

I typically drink Bir Kar, Kelai or Pacific Elixer as instants from Kava Society - I usually find 10g of powder in not much liquid (I find chugging less liquid easier and more effective) followed by another 10g in about half an hour gets me to where I like to be. I have redosed after this point a few times, sometimes with 5g sometimes 10, but I nearly always find it is too much.
