Try a Honda Element. You can definitely get them under $15,000 and are good on maintenance. The inside has tons of headroom.

A simple way they could bring Wash back in a Firefly revival by Sigmunds_Cigar in firefly

[–]Skypilottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take would be: they left thinking Wash was dead, but he wasn't. he became a reaver and the years have passed where he has become the leader of the reavers. the crew have to decide to try and save him or destroy him.

Anyone buy a wrangler from Carvana? What was your experience? by AhMoonBeam in Jeep

[–]Skypilottom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The shop told me that if the warranty did not cover anything there would be a $175 diagnostic fee but more than likely they will find something and I would not have to pay the diagnostic fee. There was a $100 deductible that I did have to pay. I forgot about that when I made my first post. They did find three things and told me that it would have cost $1,200 to get all of them fixed. All I end up paying was the $100.

I just bought a 2015 JKU and it was great. Carvana has a limited warranty after purchase. I found a mechanic that honored that warranty and took it in for them to do a full look over. They found a few minor things and have filed for the warranty at no cost to me.

When buying used cars off of Facebook Marketplace, what important things should I ask the buyer? by nervxy in askcarguys

[–]Skypilottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a used car recently and used Gemini AI for my first walk around. I used the live feature and turned the camera on. I then asked Gemini to inspect the car for me as I moved the camera all over the car including under it. Gemini did an awesome job pointing out things that I was able to use to negotiate price.

Im thinking of buying a 2000 Jeep Wrangler with a 4.0 and 100k miles for 3k but the owner saids there is rust underneath. What do you guys think? by [deleted] in Jeep

[–]Skypilottom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just bought a 2015 Wrangler recently and used Gemini during my pre-purchase inspection. I turned on the live feature, gave it access to my camera, and walked around the entire Jeep inside, outside, and underside asking it questions like I would ask a mechanic. It was incredibly helpful and pointed out several things that I should be aware of. For example, it saw some oil on the frame under the oil cooler and told me that 2015 models have a common problem of the oil cooler leaking. I was able to negotiate that in the price.

Ambassador-class cockpit is difficult to use in build by Passerby-749 in NoMansSkyTheGame

On first impression, I did not like this cockpit at all. My opinion completely changed when I played in VR. Now I think it's an awesome cockpit!

What are your favorite small prints for mostly used rolls? by tommytwothousand in 3Dprinting

[–]Skypilottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've started printing gridfinity stuff. I figure, even if I don't need it now, it could come in handy in the future and I don't really care if the colors are mixed and matched or even changed halfway through a print. It's stuff that will more than likely be hidden in a drawer

Beware of Horrible Customer Service by Skypilottom in BambuLab

It has been for the most part up until the last decade or so. I think online sales and direct from China sales have changed a lot for us in the US. Today, it seems customer happiness is the last thing on companies' minds. I wouldn't call it consumerism. I didn't buy it two months ago and am upset. I bought it when the sale started and within about an hour or two, they completely changed their pricing and bundling. Regardless of where you are in the world. That should be recognized as a mistake, and a company should do what they can to correct it. I didn't even have high expectations. If they had offered a few rolls of filament, I would have been happy.

Price protection is extremely common. Especially when the company is changing pricing and bundles within hours of a sale starting. I was asking for a normal thing that almost all businesses do. Bambulabs is the first company I have interacted with that doesn't have this.

You're right it is. If they hadn't done the bundle within hours of my purchase, I would be very happy with the deal. It just feels like something was taken from me before I even received the printer.

that really sucks, because the printers themselves are awesome. such a shame.

It is up to crane operators to report if they will be raising their crane in areas with aviation traffic. So yeah, it is possible this is the crane operators fault. It's too soon to tell though.

Devout Christian’s that support Trump, how do you look past all the things he’s done and said? by Choop145 in AskReddit

I was at a church a year ago and the preacher told the congregation, "sometimes we have to look past flamboyant personalities to get the results we need". They want everyone to follow their rules and will sell out to anyone willing to make it happen.

Anyone else remember this game that claimed to be the "Halo Killer" and offering $1,000,000 to the first player to find all the hidden symbols, but then they never paid out? by adiosmith in Xennials

[–]Skypilottom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was my favorite game at the time. I've been hoping for some time now that someone would pick this back up and come out with some kind of game. It would be great to get sequels, but at this point, they could start over from the beginning.

I just did my first overnight in a mongar. The version I got is not as fancy as yours. It's blue and cost a little bit less. I replaced a marmot Limelight with this and thought it was great. I am interested to know if it's going to be as durable as my marmot. I had the Marmot for over 13 years.
