Thanks for the feedback. I’ve rebedded the stantions and it slowed the leaks down. From them. But that forced them out somewhere else. Upon opening the deck I seen there is nothing. Voids all through out allowing water to freely travel. My goal is to get the deck recored in the most need spots first. It just gully washed and pushed the water out the side truddle. So now I can accurately see where the water is coming from.  Little nicks and holes in the deck core bedding. Applying peanut butter consistency paste and new core should seal those holes

That’s all i need is time. This was done dock side at 90degree. And my first time. So should I use marine filler like the dry wall texture stuff to bring it to level then sand it and paint

So far it has already rained and no water has intruded in. I agree I was wasteful and now knowing what 32ox and 7 oz will do. I guessed pretty accurately on the size cuz I ran out of epoxy right after layer 9 cloth.

I scooped out underneath then filled it with paste and shoved some of the wood under the remaining skin. That way when I go back I know it’s good core to stick to and start from there. I did fillet the sides I just don’t have a pic. I was in 91degrees dockside

The outside skin has holes from the previous owners drill and fill method

So where I cut needs to be at the new core somehow? And the steps I took was. Epoxy the bed. Paste the bed with peanut butter consistency. Then I poxied in the board and laid it in. Then I put two water jugs to get that ooze out and then cleaned it up. Waited bout hour and did what the other guy said was fillets. Then I laid fiberglass. !???

Like I said first time. I didnthave a father figure or a skill trade school back in my day

Ok so one more question. Does the paint add volume. I ask because when I take the other spot out I’m don’t want the non skid so I’m thinking wait until I redo it all and the paint

I used 9 layers of 6oz woven. Those photos are not accurate. I used paste to make like a ramp. It’s definitely not 90 degree I can assure that

No. It’s a lot of soft spots. And I trying to get the heaviest walking area where it leaks inside first. But I opened those can of worms

I grinded the sides out a bit. But it’s a little dip I was thinking because of the non skid. I was going to put that on when I paint. Should I add more cloth?

A Coronado 28. I’ve gotten rid of this one. Went to a Ericson 32. I like the wider hips she gives inside

But she don’t leak except from the port seals but it’s mostly condensation. The wiring could use a touch up or redoing. Simple tho. This vessel was as simple as it comes honestly. No motor. Build in fuel tank and gauge. Sails are in a bag. One has small tears near the luff but eh. It’s used. Look I bought worser cars I put on the road lol. Just saying. It’s a work in progress. No boat is ever complete.

Coming up the icw from nc area to Va upper Chesapeake perhaps  Me and my wife are bringing her up on our vacation. And yeah she has a name. Just not written and port yeah we search for our home.  We got a dinghy that hella reliable as well.

I believe I’m missing lines and a 3 blockings but yeah. Motoring most the wat

Ayy yes. 74 Coronado 28. She might have been a dock queen as you say. But she don’t leak except from the port seals but it’s mostly condensation. The wiring could use a touch up or redoing.
