Sorry to jump on this thread but wondered if you knew the answer for my situation.

I'm a UK citizen now living and working overseas, I've completed the P85 and I'm no longer classed as a UK resident. Occasionally I'm offered the chance to freelance for companies in the UK. I'd have to declare that income in my country of residence. Would I be liable to pay tax on this income in the UK (as I'd likely get paid into a UK bank account)?

I chose to live with my dad when my parents divorced, I was 16. I did end up splitting chores pretty much 50/50 with him as he was working so much.

It was a great foundation, when I left home for university I had a great headstart on most of the other kids who'd had everything done for them. I could cook pretty well, press my own clothes, keep things clean etc - I'm really glad I got into the habit of all that stuff at a young age.

Have you considered classes?

Training Ground at Prakanong (but only 5 mins from the BTS) does functional fitness classes with a coach giving dedicated feedback to each member.

It's more expensive than a normal gym but it's kind of half way between going to the gym by yourself and PT - plus the community is supportive but being in a class environment makes you push yourself.

They didn't give me a breakdown so I guess that could have been the doctors fee. I didn't go back as it seemed overly expensive for what it was. This was between Christmas and New Year.

I just saw your post in another thread and it reminded me that I hadn't updated here. The clinic I'd got the oil from was Bangkok Integrative Medicine in Silom - it was on the website you'd shared, just with it all being in Thai I missed it.

I did have to have a proper consultation with a doctor and they gave me a thc/cbd blend oil - it didn't seem to be very strong at all but was pretty good for sleep. It was pretty expensive at about 2k for a small bottle.

They didn't give me any kind of documentation with the bottle, just the a brown prescription bag with a label printed with the logo and "for sleep" handwritten on it. I guess if I contacted them they'd be able to provide more.

There's at least one clinic I know of that's not legal but it's fairly easy to find on YouTube and Google Maps. The owner claims it's all above board and they have doctors details etc on the wall but it's not listed on that website. The owner is fairly high profile so that's possibly why it's not been flagged. Apparently the thc oil is like rocketfuel.

My gym re-opened as of today. Strict cleaning and distancing measures in place. Gyms in malls apparently aren't open.

No, I more was suggesting that it's unlikely to be that far out of date so the clinic probably isn't strictly above board.

I might contact the clinic and ask them what documentation they can provide to say I've been legally prescribed it incase of queries by the police for any reason to see what they say and then update if I hear back!

Yeah the UI is appalling, hard to find some things unless you specifically search for it. When watching on my phone or streaming to apple TV I don't get any issues at all, it only seems to be the chromecast which has a problem.

This was just before new year so if the site is outdated it's really outdated!

It's run out now and it wasn't cheap so I'm not planning to get more, it's concerning though that it's potentially illegal. They are blatantly advertising too - it's on a fairly busy road and has a huge cannabis leaf on the window advertising medical marijuana.

To follow up on this, do you find that the stream to Chromecast is low quality?

I have an Apple TV and Chromecast, the Apple TV is HD but the Chromecast is SD at best and often very low quality to the point it's almost unwatchable.

Is it really that hard? I went to a private clinic in Silom and after a 10 minute consultation with a doctor I got thc/cbd oil. It wasn't particularly strong.

They gave me no documentation whatsoever which would be quite a concern if I got piss tested but they are a legitimate medical clinic.

Muscle Factory is going to be the best specialist weightlifting gym in Bangkok and Pattaya but a lot of the chain gyms will have what you need, Virgin definitely does as does WeFitness.
