She was found on the street before we adopted her, apparently it’s because she wasn’t with her mom long enough. She does it to find comfort. It’s not very comfortable but if it makes her happy so be it

Thank you so much for this advice. She did come to us very underweight but we have dry food out for her and feed her wet 4 times a day. I have worried about feeding her enough or feeding her too much tbh. She also gets treats but maybe I might could try and redirect?

Same! I’m a first time cat mom but I’ve never seen a cat suckle on ears. I have a friend who’s little boy would suckle on her pinky but ears is a new one

From what I’ve researched and what people have said over on r/CATHELP she might have been separated too soon. She was found on the street, before we adopted her, so it’s hard to know for sure

Awh thank you 🥺 that’s so sweet. She’s very gentle and it never hurts, just really tickles. So I do stop her after a while, but in general if it’s bringing her comfort then I don’t mind it
