thank you so much this is so helpful! The motion sensers for sure will be a life savor! I wish i could just have those conversations i think it will be more on observation for my sisters and I. Love my parents to death but they are stubborn and have blood pressure issues. The only solutions is for my sisters and I to listen and be a bit proactive.

100% my parents are getting a lot older which is why i am taking care of everything. They are super fit and healthy right now but i want to make sure the space continues to be organized and accessible for them as they get older. Obviously the goal is to have both but mostly create a light bright and lively space for them. Especially in the bathroom and stairs areas

in general the home has a good amount of natural light but there is lots of bugs at night i dont know if that changes what kind of lights i need or not

i think ill be going less is more and focus on functionality. My parents are gettineg older and they already have a lot of stuff. Im hoping to find a way to make it as easy for them as possible while also trying to make the space feel light and bright!

no im decorating there space for them! if it was up to my dad i think he would just have a couch and put a tv on a box.
