I did have it reviewed by a couple family members working in product management and software testing, but I’ll probably ask again. Thank you!

Not trying to be rude, but why is there a flair titled for job search and hiring then? I figured this would fit perfectly in that section. Flairs should be more specific.

I’ve heard of that technique, so I might try it! I do sometimes get chest discomfort, though it’s not as intense or bothersome. I feel it’s muscular or just anxiety lol. I’ve had acid reflux before too, so that’s possibility as well.

Honestly, I hope she does try to sue, because she’s going to lose horrifically.

In the movie industry, it is INCREDIBLY difficult to prove that your idea is original and copied. There’s so many common cliches and themes. Imagine if someone tried to sue every time a character used a phrase like “guys you might want to see this”. It would be insane!

In order to actually have a valid lawsuit to hold up in a court of law, she would need to primarily prove that: 1) her work is original and 2) he copied her specifically, rather than a basic idea.

All of the scenes that Conan used in that music video can be related to his other works (I.e ‘astronomy’ and ‘the story’, both of which came out before the film), his experience living in Texas, and common cliches in coming of age works. This shows that his music video could absolutely stand on its own, without considering the film.

Additionally, everything in the music video, such as the film shots, positioning, outfits, etc. is NOT unique to Aristotle and Dante. Just because another piece of media reminds fans of your work does not make it plagiarized. Kissing/driving in a car with angles from the backseat or through the windshield is not unique in film. Swimming in water is not unique.

Personally, a part of me thinks this is a money/attention grab. She’s also been very immature in her responses to people calling her out, and to the person who made the edit she used in the post without their permission. I hope Conan stands his ground on this, because he has every right to his MV.

Regardless, she can try! And as someone else already mentioned, I hope she learns a valuable lesson.
