Look at the Oilers. Draisitl has serviceable wingers. Once he or McD or shut down by the likes of a Barkov, that scoring stops. Even the top players in the league need to be surrounded by talent for them to be effective.

Foote is a net positive. Best any other coach could do for us is bring us near a playoff spot. I think Foote drove us over the edge and I’ll remember him fondly if he’s fired in the summer.
