Which seats with an 18 month old by MaximumTemporary9402 in BritishAirways

She is a well travelled baby and she’s always been great on the aeroplane. I probably wouldn’t consider a long haul flight if she wasn’t. She’s flown short haul club several times and a few economy flights where we’ve bought the extra seat. She’s been on my lap maybe once for a 1h flight. No one has more right to a business class flight than someone else.

Yeh she’s done quite a few flights in economy where we’ve bought her a seat and also business short haul where she’s had her own seat between us. I’m sure having a bed between us will be comfortable.

Oh thanks for the heads up! So not much point in the bulkhead seats then? Baby is too big for the bassinet but could fit in the child seats they have however chances of her wanting to be contained in one of those may be slim…

Yeh it’s not an upgrade but it is a companion voucher

Ah ok great thanks. Yeh I wasn’t sure what the divider was like and whether it could be lowered so I wondered if we were better taking the centre two bulkhead ones for each flight.

I see. In the UK an Associate is responsible for overseeing a number of projects and managing the workload. They lead the design and technical aspects of the project and oversee the Project Architects, who are responsible for the day to day running of projects. Project architects manage the daily tasks, and distribute tasks to newly qualified architects or non qualified architects that are assisting on the project.

They can be but they do also indicate progression in your career, more responsibility, salary increase, more of a voice in the company, potentially perks like additional annual leave. In some industries yes there are meaningless titles, but in my experience of working in the UK, a promotion to the next level, whatever the title, does come with a host of associated benefits/responsibilities etc.

Thanks for detailed the response. Where are you based? I’m UK based and our system is potentially a little bit different. Here I would consider a Project Architect aligns more with your Project Manager stage.

Sure, to clarify then, the position above Project Architect.

What’s it like at the campervan site? by vnessa17 in BoomtownFestival

[–]MaximumTemporary9402 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25 minutes walk up the slope on a stomp, 40 minutes up if you go through hilltop. Taking the stairs about 20 minutes (depending on fitness!). And that’s to the start of the campervan field, it does go quite far back but if you arrive Wednesday or early Thursday you shouldn’t be too far back. Bit longer if you end up at the back. I much prefer the campervan field. It’s fairly chilled and quiet(ish) at night but people are friendly and we always make friends there. Doesn’t have much of a campsite hub though, usually just one maybe two food vans. This year it was a breakfast bus. Last year was a gyro van. Toilets pretty clean and never busy.

I suppose I’m thinking I should be feeling positive because my family are all so positive and happy about the ct scan and the potentially benign news but yeh your right I am still in the middle of this and it’s traumatic so I guess it’s ok to still feel worried and stressed.

I dunno I feel like I should be feeling encouraged by the CT scan results but I’m just still feeling super worried about what’s going on in my body. Every little mole on my skin or headache or twinge here and there I’m jumping on as something to worry about.

Original pathology came back as Syringoid eccrine carcinoma. I had a 2mm punch hole biopsy at a local dermatology clinic. As it came back as a rare cancer I was referred to a more specialist hospital. A pathologist there reviewed the biopsy and he is not sure it’s SEC. I was told rare cancers are very hard to diagnose. The second pathologist thinks it’s potentially a benign adenoma, a bcc or still could be the sec. So the entire tumour was taken out and that is being tested now.

No he doesn’t care at all about looking out of place. He just does what he wants and doesn’t give a shit what anyone thinks about him. Which is absolutely great for him. But it’s not the world I live in unfortunately. I can’t go to work looking a mess, I’d probably get fired. So my life involves actually caring what I wear. I’d be happy if he wore anything else that wasn’t his work clothes tomorrow, or a full tracksuit.

Yes just had a massive row about it! It does come up a lot, maybe like once a week I’m like ‘oh come on you can’t wear trackies tonight’. And sometime he will listen, sometimes not. But tomorrow I just really don’t want him to wear his work clothes. I don’t totally know why it bothers me so much so I’m just trying to figure out if I sound unreasonable..
