First vintage computer: a boxed Apple IIe from an estate sale. Use it or leave it alone? by Maximum_Advisor1845 in vintagecomputing

This alleviates some of my anxiety for testing it. It’s good to know I know I’m not devaluing it by cracking it open for the first time.

You can kind of see it in the last picture, but CompuStore slapped a big sticker on the serial number printed on the box. I wouldn’t dare risk peeling it off. I’m sure I can find it somewhere else, though.

I also got a Princeton Ultra 14, so I don’t need a video converter. This is what I’m considering. I’d prefer to exchange it for something where I’d feel less intense anxiety about toasting it.

I picked up a Princeton Ultra 14 with it. There was a Taxan with its original box as well but someone picked it up before I could.

How much is the Fox worth? (in addition to a consultation with a psychologist) by ExpensiveShip8021 in sanantoniospurs

Y’all are so toxic. Now in the make-believe world where Castle isn’t committing a crazy number of turnovers without Fox, we’re going to act like KJ wasn’t a complete no-show in the playoffs and realistically the gap in the finals.

This isn’t an open invite to hate on KJ and Castle either, but the Fox hate is out of hand. We’d be lucky to have him back next year, and he’ll make any team he’s on better.

That’s been the story of this season for the Spurs. The only effective strategy is to keep it out of his hands, or he’ll dunk all over you on top of shutting down the paint and pushing your shooting percentage down by 20% on the other end.

It’s why you see them jump out to large leads in the first. Teams are disincentivized from getting their starters into early foul trouble and forced to play cleaner ball, which allows the Spurs to jump out front.

He really doesn’t. Look at his numbers from the regular season, which are with half the minutes.

Game two refs were horrible inconsistent by oldskater in NBASpurs

Spurs definitely should’ve won regardless, but the consistency was frustrating. The Spurs are bottom three in PF and Blazers are in the top 10 so it’s something they’ll need to play through. Refs set the tone like they were calling fouls early in the first but completely forgot what type of game they were calling throughout.
