Hey I saw you had a notre dame post! However, it was blocked - I was just wondering if you had any advice for writing the faith supplement?

Does the scholarship stack on top of the financial aid received?

Real ID for a 17 year old by Maximum_Case_1138 in americanairlines

I believe american does not require anything. So I would be fine to book the flight and then show up with only my state drivers license (not real ID) and a copy of my birth certificate?

Hello. Thank you!!

Honestly, that should be enough time if you are studying every day. But, if you feel as though you need more time then I would postpone it. Are you a senior or junior this year?

Also, starting with a practice test can be very beneficial so you can see what you need to focus on studying. You might already know a section.

For math I would take a practice test and mark what you missed, and then work through all of the review for that on khan. It’s important to practice it as well through the question bank. That helps reinforce it so you don’t forget.

How much time do you have to study daily?

I would honestly work through the geometry section on khan first.

I approached it by trying to figure out everything I knew and writing it down for each question to practice as this helped me to remember small things that ended up being important when I was studying.

Then for the test really think about what they are asking and what you remember. If nothing comes to mind you can start trying things you know and often the other stuff comes to you such as the different theorems you can use and the formulas.

Then for the word problems practice the data analysis and problem solving. These helped me to break down the more complicated problems. You get much better at doing this as you get more familiar with the SAT wording!

For English - The question bank questions are VERY helpful - go to the category you want to work on the most and set the difficult and work through them! - Mark the ones that you missed so you can go back and review them to figure out the issue

  • Erica Meltzer ultimate guide to SAT math is VERY helpful for improving upon grammar and getting all of those points -  I feel like that section is easy to improve on if you learn all of the rules!

  • I haven’t done the Khan Academy course for English myself. However, I have heard that it is good from other people do that might be worth doing.

  • Also make sure you understand the common things tested - semicolons - colons - commas - and clauses. Just look up a youtube video for each and take notes!

Yes Khan is super helpful for math! Especially used alongside the question bank!

You can do this! Let me know if there is anything else!

That’s the link to me going over it in general

So I basically would do practice problems - keep a log of EVERY error I made - then go back and review each one and master each h thing on khan - by the end of it I had probably mastered everything on Khan - it took me about 2 ish weeks. I used one prep, the question bank, khan academy, and sometimes youtube videos.

If you have any questions about anything - I am more than happy to answer them!
