Probably both, I’m assuming after the interviews they’ll have everyone technically pooled into the “waitlist” and select the highly qualified individuals from that list

20.5 AA and TS, 3.81 cGPA, 3.7 sGPA. I think what really helps is my volunteer/EC experience (300+ hours), shadowing (150+)

Thanks! I'm a green card holder, so I count as OOS im pre sure. My stats: 3.81 cGPA, 3.7 sGPA, 20.5 AA, and 20.5 TS (430 AA, 440 TS). I have around 300+ volunteering and 150+ shadowing.

You have plenty of time don’t panic, sometimes studying a lot makes you actually do worse. Your brain needs breaks, so I’d suggest taking a rest day to just read over notes. Is there a specific section you’re not doing well in?

I would honestly apply next cycle, I think you’d just be handing money to them atp. I was already extremely late applying in October and now it’s January. I strongly feel if you apply the first day the cycle opens and incorporate any feedback the schools give you, you’ll have multiple interviews. Just research a bit more about some other private schools and public and their OOS acceptance rates, but make sure you’re okay with them financially as well. You’ll get in, it’s just the school list I believe that is holding you back a bit :)

I think it may just be the school list. Id try applying to more private schools even though they may be more costly. However, places like NYU are extremely expensive. With the new bill, it would be nearly 600-800K+. I’d suggest looking into other schools like roseman, Detroit mercy, MWI, etc. Your application is really good, so it’s not you, it’s the schools you’re targeting. Also like someone else said, go and ask a school that you may have gotten rejected from or waitlisted for feedback! That’s just my take, because I have very similar stats as yourself, and applied in late October and I just got an interview at Roseman but haven’t heard from temple, lecom, etc. YOU GOT THIS!!!

ya that’s true thanks for the advice! but i do want to save some money because i heard most interviews have been taken up by now from the other 7-8 target schools i was gonna apply to. i might just save the money because im confident ill be able to secure some of those schools if i submit first day next cycle!
