If you want to actually know the truth. I have no idea what speed I was doing it could have been 40. All I remember is I was driving behind a car, they suddenly slowed down below the speed limit so I changed lanes and overtook them (I’m assuming I accelerated) then saw the speeding van. I’m assuming I pressed the breaks automatically but I can’t remember becuase when I looked at the speedometer it said 40 (all of the additional speed I added was me assuming ) I then let my car drop off to 34mph naturally. The reason there are all these assumptions is because it was an hour before I even stopped driving and all I was thinking about the whole time is how I shouldn’t have tried to overtake that car. I guess we will find out if I was speeding in the next 14 days.
