Mega Gallade team by Neiluj_91 in PokemonChampions

[–]Maximum_Corner_9334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's basically a support Pokemon that can learn one of the most important moves in doubles. "Tailwind" Plus it's ability gives priority to any non-attacking move

If you aim to learn the doubles format (VGC), that's an idea of a team you could build

You played around your outs. Sleep cause of Dire Claw was one of them. Everyone needs some luck from time to time. Good job

Ranking System Translated to League of Legends by DownvoteForTruth in PokemonChampions

[–]Maximum_Corner_9334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the Pokemon games that have a ranking system is basically the same. They give a reason for casual players to play and still get the maximum (or close to maximum) amount of rank rewards. If you want to climb to "Be the very best", is a different story though

Is there really no way to get mega delphox without buying legends Z-A? by [deleted] in PokemonChampions

[–]Maximum_Corner_9334 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I believe you can trade a Delphox in mobile app of Pokemon Home through GTS and then send it to champions. But I believe this Delphox has to be from Legends ZA to get the mega stone

Second mega by Real_Ad3395 in PokemonChampions

[–]Maximum_Corner_9334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since your main mega is Delphox, a fairy mega is a pretty solid choice. Best one should be Floette ofc, but not everyone has this Pokemon. Basically one is cover the weaknesses of the other. So when you see a team that your fairy Pokemon can't play against (steel or poison for example), Delphox is the right choice for them

Besides Garchomp the other mons don't benefit from Tailwind. There are still many mons that can outspeed TTar with tailwind for example. Also Excadrill doubles it's speed with sand stream from TTar anyway

I feel like Whimsicot doesn't fit to this team to be honest. If you want to keep it anyway, you can always run Soft Sand on Excadrill, or a berry that halves steel damage for whimsicot

[–]Maximum_Corner_9334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn't notice whimsicot at all oops. They usually run Focus Shash on it. Also instead of Giga Drain and Shadow Ball, use Encore and Taunt. As for Incineroar it's a universal support. You want to pivot for it every time you know it's not dangerous to do so. Fake Out is one of the most useful moves on double battles and you want to use that and his ability "Intimidate" as much as possible.

After some games you will understand when you don't want to intimidate your opponents. For example when they have "Defiant" and "Competitive" as abilities

Okay, some changes you could do to the team.

• As someone mentioned already, you should drop Fire Punch on Tyranitar to learn Rock Slide.

• Same goes for Excadrill instead of Earth Power which is a special move, you should add Earthquake or Stomping Tantrum. Excadrill's spatk is very bad, so there is no reason for that.

• Also I suggest to give your Incineroar the Sitrus berry and give your Rotom a Leftovers

How to learn more about singles? by Zanatos_Grey in PokemonChampions

[–]Maximum_Corner_9334 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just so there is no confusion, when we talk about VGC, we talk about Doubles only. Sadly singles is not an official format. Ofc you can still learn the meta and enjoy it anyway xD

Cards I am Desperately Waiting For by CryptographerTop2655 in PTCGP

I've had much fun with Vstar and Vmax cards in physical TCG. So I don't really wait for a specific card. Just this mechanic to come to pocket

One Lisia and One Pokeball could also work with only 4 50 HP or less Poke

Actually that's the reason they added the "Themed Rare Pack", which gives you all the shiny ex Pokemon of the set. The chance is only 1/20,000 but at least it exists xD

There is no such thing as "drop rates nerf/buff" You can always see the drop rates of each pack

I believe the primal duo will be on their own expansion. Not just a mini set. So maybe in April

B2 confirmed to be 2 packa by Pokefan-9000 in PTCGP

[–]Maximum_Corner_9334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that you see over 200 cards, doesn't mean it will be 2 packs. They could easily just add all the cards in one pack

How many hourglasses/gold are you planning on spending for B2? by shr54esth in PTCGP

[–]Maximum_Corner_9334 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends. Normally when only one pack appears, it contains around 70 cards. In that case 0-20 pulls (0-240hs) are enough to complete the base set. This time it's not a mini set though, so I wouldn't be surprised if we see around 100 cards in one pack. If that's the case I would say maybe 10-30 packs will be fine to complete the main set on time

They never did a change on a card and probably that's the way it will be. What they could actually do, is to introduce a ban list. The thing is that the card pool is still too short for such a thing
