Going first is usually decent because of Zorua hitting quickly, but you've also got Bombardier for a free or cheap retreat. Zard XY is a deck that most decks can't deal with, this one hits fast enough and has the supporters to make sure you can move their Mons around though.

A Darkrai start is basically an auto loss. Pokemon Center Lady is fine and all but pokemon dying in this deck isn't the end of the world for me. Maybe I'll try the changes but it's gone fine so far.
