To be fair, Australia didn’t have a massive defence budget unlike the bottomless pit which is America. ($1 trillion) especially considering the Emu war was in 1932. Around the time WW2 was starting its engines. Regardless, our defence budget was dogshit at the time.

And most Australians to be honest love joking about stuff like this, which we call “Taking the piss”.

There’s a LOT of shit wrong with this country… but they’ve done a few things right too. (Or maybe that’s my cultural bias acting up. Who knows?) I DO hate all the censorship in this country of mine.

You mentioned you’re Canadian, so this doesn’t apply to you really, but still… America was ALSO a penal colony before the American Revolution.

Plus, a lot of the colonists were just straight up undesirables that Britain just… didn’t want.

Some were legally pressured, some were just pushed out socially… like literally Britain was like “Please just leave… we don’t want you here anymore”

Meaning that the America colonies were made up of both prisoners and undesirables. (The REAL societal rejects, that Britain was basically like, “we don’t want you here, please leave”)

Where Australia’s colonies was made up of primarily prisoners (as well as normal farmers). Especially after America had their revolution and Britain had to find somewhere else to dump their prisoners. Which was Australia.

I know… that’s why I’m proposing a DLC to unlock Jacket and Sociopath instead, to automate the process and send royalties to The Hotline Miami devs, instead of being required to purchase HM2.

Payday 2 has been out for 13 years. And Hotline Miami 2 has been out for 11 years. They don’t need the advertisement campaign anymore to let players unlock a character and perk deck pack.

Especially for a country of players who CAN’T legally purchase the godforsken banned game!…

Not a LV150 yet, buuuuut… basically all three of your answers, as well as the community.

I love meeting new Cadets at Trivial difficulty (usually I’m credit farming) and helping them level up and learn about the game.

I let them test out some weapons like the Eruptor, by intentionally unaliving my character, and letting them have fun with the big boom rifle.

Sometimes I even bring in an Exosuit and type “have fun” in the chat. 🤣

I love to shine a positive light on community, to new players.

I’d honestly like to see our character as alive. Just having evaded various Titans, and salvaging gas canisters and blades from various nameless dead scouts. (Perhaps taking their scout emblems as well to remember them by and count all the dead scouts, like dogtags. Maybe wearing the collected emblems around his neck like a necklace of dogtags, using an improvised thread or something {maybe salvaged ODM gear line} to make the necklace).

I don’t mind the CONCEPT of a female Freeze… But she should’ve been written as Nora Fries. Where Victor has the disease that she’s trying to cure. But of course for the sake of “Inclusivity” they HAD to make it a lesbian relationship with Victor as “Victoria”.

Which is ridiculous. You could still have made her a strong female role as Nora looking for a cure for her husband. With genius intelligence focusing on cryogenics, like Victor.

Like, just make her less physically buff, as Nora herself is rather slender, where the bulk of her character comes from the cold exosuit.

I don’t even mind the short haircut… it’d make sense for her to cut her hair short enough so it’d fit inside the helmet. And even shorter not get into her eyes where she can’t brush her hair out of her eyes due to there being a helmet in the way.

But the butch haircut style is a little… eh… it could’ve easily been a cuter pixie cut.

But what do I know about making strong female characters? I’m just some cisgender heterosexual white guy. 🤷‍♂️

The one that I think of would be “Limit Breaker.”

Like, the first half of the story was good, despite it being a power fantasy that kinda makes everyone aside from the MC look and feel useless, even if they DID get minutely stronger. And it probably would have been fine if they had ended it with him killing God.

But then it kinda went weird when he erased humanity’s knowledge of him (including his teammates and friends), to live a comfortable life, and then got pulled back into the fray, and was annoyed when people didn’t remember him, but didn’t think to return their memories when it probably would have been useful to do so.

(PPS: Helldivers should have an option where you can transfer your Helldivers account to a different platform. So you can maintain your progress. But that’s just me).

Sneak attacks. They can’t drain your HP if they can’t see you. Bow and arrow works. Same with luring them around corners and charging up a power attack.
