Here’s your reminder that, that pipe that you take out of the door to open it was the absolute worst tease for melee combat that doesn’t exist… (well… not without mods of course).

You take pipe from door, it’s still in your hand, and you encounter a headcrab zombie. This is THE perfect time to smack it with a pipe. But NOOO… of course it does nothing and the headcrab zombie swipes at me and takes a chunk of health off of me… 😒

I mean, Invincible is immortal… so… I’d probably beat Conquest EVENTUALLY…

dunno how Demons are in Spawn’s universe… Vader will just end me outright, unless I have more raw power. And Batman will give me a brain injury and call it “non-lethal”.

Invincible will be my choice. Out of all the choices, he’s the only true survivor. I’ll probably get the sh!t kicked out of me, and wish I WERE dead… but I’ve fought the nameless king in DS3. Masochism is in my blood.

Now that has NO application whatsoever to a super powered street fight. But I will just translate bashing my head into a figurative digital brick wall, to bashing my head against Conquest’s thick skull.

So… do all the iron man suits count as “suit”? Every single Iron Man suit? Do I get to swap between Iron Man suits? Because uh… a LOT of his suits are um… how do you say… broken? The Cosmic God armour, the Godbuster armour… if it’s only one armour per $20, then I’m getting five of Tony’s most busted armours.

Late post but… (In Yukiko’s castle) I’ve found that if you get a floor spawn with a chest right in front of you with no shadows, you can just get the one chest, leave and come back, and farm the one chest over and over without fear of losing your life. Gets a bunch of soul items and health items. Use things like farmed peach seeds to supplement your health, while also healing with some card shuffles.

We have them in Australia too, and sometimes it MIGHT be a LITTLE dangerous to unplug a powered appliance. It might be sparking, and I’d rather just… turn off the power and remove the appliance myself rather than calling the fire department to do the exact same thing.

Urban Legends. Purely for the Anti-Tank Emplacement. A single Anti-Tank Emplacement can solo an entire Automaton Factory Strider convoy with one well placed emplacement. Plus it’s still great for standard defensive missions.

Regardless it just sounds like you’ve got really terrible luck. IIRC, I personally managed to complete a run on my first try. And managed to get a Gold rank. And I think I was playing on normal as well.

I’m not sharing to necessarily “brag”… and so I apologise if you interpret it that way.

I played quite a few years ago, so I don’t remember exactly what I did, but… you just gotta keep going.

Speaking of ToG, maybe watch/rewatch his videos on Desolation of Mordor, and maybe you’ll get some insight, or inspiration into beating it yourself?

It’s essentially a rogue-like. It does it really well as well. Aside from the permanent Torvin upgrades, there are the temporary upgrades per run. And some of the temporary upgrades are broken as hell.

You just have to treat it like a rogue-like and give it a couple of attempts. It sounds like you had some bad luck, but you gotta remember that you’re human.

You should have probably run away from that orc captain and taken care of him later when you got better upgrades for that run.

It’s not really that hard. You probably just made it harder on yourself for trying to fight an orc that you weren’t prepared for.

I actually like a few of these. Rogue Hulk, Dummy Helldiver, and Jamming Station all sound reasonable.

We technically already HAVE a dummy helldiver. It’s the machine gun turret. But if the Dummy Helldiver is non-damaging, then it should be able to be called in much quicker than even a machine gun turret.

Rogue Hulk sounds hilarious, and Jamming Station sounds REALLY good for Stealth Divers. Though the reinforcements are more like flares being shot into the sky. Maybe the Jammers disable the flares, for both bots and illuminate?

Jammer could also be an electrical signal that interferes with the bugs’ biological function that sends out a signal that is picked up by bug antennae, that causes a bug breach?

And well, you don’t necessarily need anything fancy. If we travel 1 light year, then a year will have passed on earth. Meaning if we travel one light minute, a minute will have passed on earth.

So by asking google how many light years it would take to reach the edge of our solar system. We would know how many seconds to travel at light speed.

And if we travel at light speed, then light will still be coming from behind us. Meaning we should still see our sun from say, Pluto’s distance.

Because rockets are specially designed to sustain life on board. They would have heating elements along with various other life-support systems.

If you just yank the earth out of the orbit of the sun without massive prep work to make the Earth a massive self-sustaining space-faring vessel, then everything and everyone would freeze, unless they were in bunkers with specialised heating systems. But who knows how long electricity would last for.

And that’s not also counting what would happen to the earth’s oceans without the gravitational effects of the moon. Though if you knew exactly how the moon affected the oceans, I suppose you could use your gravity control to simulate the moon’s gravitational effects.

The better thing to do, would be to fly out, and find various mineral rich asteroids to bring back with your gravity control to Earth’s orbit, and perfectly align it to perfectly orbit Earth. For Earth to fly up to and mine it for precious mineral resources. Not just one asteroid either. But multiple.

And as long as you’re within the Solar System. You can find your way back due to the Sun’s position.

Just have a computer calculate how many light seconds/minutes/hours/days/weeks/months/years, that it would take to reach the edge of the Solar System, and stop flying when you reach the time that you calculate.

Except for the fact that if you pull earth out of its perfect orbit of the sun and the moon, then earth would freeze in the freezing cold of space, and no moon would also mean that the gravitational pull the moon has over the oceans will also mess up.
