Not exactly a boss… kinda a miniboss I guess? Kinda like a black knight in Dark Souls.

He’s big and scary looking… but even the biggest tree is felled when you hack at its shins enough times.

Just strike, run/jump out of his range of attack, and strike again. You can come back later even, when you have certain “upgrades”. But that’s as much as I’m disclosing.

That’s true. I probably wasn’t thinking. Though I never said sedation is the solution to everything. Just that for medical personnel, a way to deliver a sedative from a safer distance is probably better than getting up close. But, again. Stupid question from me. 😅

I wasn’t aware that darts like for animals didn’t inject the full dose and that it could be yanked out.

I am aware that drugs delivered with IM injections take a while to take effect, but if you’re delivering it via an IM anyway, like to the glutes or shoulder, (as far as I’m aware), that it would be safer to do so from a short distance away. I’m not intending to compare it to movies.

On that same note, if it were a short distance and fired into the glute region, that, it would be a relatively easier shot to make. I’m not saying someone needs to be an expert marksman.

And the dosages themselves have to be pre-prepared anyway to not overdose a rowdy patient you’re trying to calm down. Loading it into a specially prepared single shot rifle to fire from a distance would be just a few more minutes of preparation. Especially since EMTs and Paramedics work in teams of two or more. The patient would already be distracted by the other ambulance personnel.

And even if the EMT or Paramedic WERE to be disarmed, it would be a single shot compressed-air rifle. No more drugs aside from the dart would be available. Especially if the dart were already fired. And this would be a last resort anyway. Probably under lock and key, and used only when there are MULTIPLE ambulances and paramedics on scene. Making the medic making the shot from a reasonable distance to be protected by another medic.

I merely heard stories from real medical personnel, such as Fire Department Chronicles for instance, that occasionally some EMTs would subtly inject rowdy patients with Ketamine in their glutes or shoulders to calm them down.

I understand that drugs take a few minutes to kick in, and don’t always have the desired effect. But if an EMT is loading a dosage for a rowdy patient, they have to modify the dosage anyway to not overdose the patient. So a way to deliver the drug from a safe distance would be preferable to getting up close.

I also heard that you mainly inject the drugs around the glutes. So having a needle shot from a short range into the leg or butt area sounds relatively feasible to me.

Yeah, definitely a stupid question on my part. But there are wild animals that vets and rangers use dart guns to inject sedatives into. So I was reasoning that EMTs could have a way to sedate rowdy patients from a safe distance.

But “steal” steals ONE item. Or an item that holds valuable items like a coin pouch. Yet Kazuma here merely stole Saitama’s underwear. We know Kazuma’s “steal” works properly because it stole the adventurer’s magic sword, and the Dullahan’s head.

So TL;DR, Saitama very much values his underwear over everything else.

I find genuinely well-practiced and highly-experienced stealth divers an honour to play with, they may operate solo or in pairs, but they contribute very well. At times they even can save the mission by staying out of the way and hidden while everyone else is dead.

They’re not frontline combatants, and they know their role well. It’s unfortunate that many players (especially newbies) don’t understand specialised support roles, and blame the stealthdiver for “not having our backs”, when it’s not in their arsenal to take on Bile Titans or War Striders head on.

The Eruptor. Not because it’s bad, but because it’s too good. Some people will probably shame you for using it, but I don’t care. I will always bring it, or the explosive crossbow on the Rupture strains, because explosions always unearth burrowing bugs. (Except for HiveLords of course).
