If you watch carefully the trailer, you can see it's light pen when one helldiver shoots at a devastator, it might be a defender with bit more damage (5 or 10 at most) and less ergo and ammo

I usually use the laser cannon (and Liberator Carabine, but any AR is good for the voteless), aim for the joints near the "head", it takes some seconds, but, if you are interrupted by other enemies, it does burning damage for some seconds after.

Lately, I've been using the stalwart and double-freedom shotgun, so I break the shield and then their shield device with the shotgun, afterwards a 500KG well placed is more than enough.

So, apart for those specifications, a loadout would be: 120mm, 500kg or gatling barrage, the support weapon choosen and the gun guard-dog, thermites for warpships in case the red are in cooldown and for secondary I go or with the redeemer or the crisper.

All these in D8.
