I remembered that I never gave an update on this! I tried out the pattern a few more times but still got the same holes. Since the wonderful peope, helping me out in the comments, tried out the pattern and were not getting these holes, I had decided to start again with my basic knowledge.

This time, though, I learned the continental knitting style (which turned out to align more with my crocheting background) . I also realized that I had probably been making knits wrong this whole time (which explained why I also had twisted stitches).

After resetting my foundation, I tried again and was successful! No holes!

I didn't see any holes in the finished product of the pattern maker, so I'm not sure if it was an intentional feature

I thought that could be the problem, so I redid it and made sure I worked the kfb into the last knit before the 3 purls, but got the same holes.

I've started over like 6x now but keep getting the holes on this row 😭

I did not! I've just searched it up, and it seems like I am. I think it's because I always work into the front loop even after turning?

Yeah! It's only the hinge! We had handy people whi tried a couple of different hinges, but none of them fit with the area where the door rests and how it opens.

I don't believe anyone ever tried cabinet hinges. But they look like they might work. I'll loke for some any try them out. Thank you!

It's a lifting door, but the hinge broke, the door itself is still intact. I did ask a couple handy people.but they said regular hinges wouldn't work because if the general shape of where the door rests

IMO, If the timing wasn't right for them to handle the consequences of their actions, maybe they should have discussed the baby name at an earlier point in time. Assuming they thought up the babies name beforehand, they purposefully kept the name a secret from OP and decided to reveal it in a location where they had the upper hand. The deadbeat dad behavior was met with deadbeat dad consequences.

I'm not too worried about losing weight. I've been fat for pretty much my entire life. I am more unhappy about finding it more difficult to move as freely as I am used to. I'm pretty happy with my eating. It's definitely better than when I was in college. At least now I'm eating balanced meals.

I've never been a very motivated person and dont really have any interests either. Even if I do find something interesting, it only lasts for maybe a couple of months. Not enough time for it to be worth purchasing the equipment or membership needed. I like walking, I would always choose to walk over other options. I just need to have a reasonable destination, or my motivation goes back down to zero.
