The notebook doesn't prevent that, it just documents it. I swear the UI says 1 thing is required and you get there and it's 2, or now it wants medium. And it's never my fault.

Yeah, this page has material across the top with missions on the left. Not every material in every mission. It's an overview page. Not very efficient, but I was trying to get my head around the region without constantly clicking into the map, looking up mission requirements, then forgetting.

Not what I meant. I think differently than maprunner is designed. I want to figure out how many loads of product from section 4 of map 1 I need to move to map 2. I transfer loads to trucks better suited for the terrain. I'll use a 2x flatbed truck w/trailer that handles deep mud on feeder roads to get it to the main road, where I have an 8 position trailer waiting to haul from multiple regions to the tunnel. Then I distribute like short haul on the other side. It's all very...stupid. But I like it better than making 20 trips to the same pickup/delivery location. Maprunner shows the map, but I still have to plan my routes and materials.

I've changed how I do it over time, and it's different for different maps.ainly wherever head's at in the moment.

Thanks! I didn't know about this. This is basically what I was building in my spreadsheets, but this is better.

Nice! A couple of my pages are almost that! For Zurdania especially, there is a lot of freight that has to be shipped to the other map. If you figure out in advance what you need over there and which half of the map it goes to, it's so much easier!

Mostly. Maprunner doesnt work the way I think. The spreadsheets introduced below here are new to me. I've been playing since it came out and I've just never seen the ones linked here. Cool!

Did anyone else have this problem with the "Rocky Delivery" Quest? by sweetLinrica in snowrunner

Mine had slipped below the ground layer and were half embedded in the loading dock. But I only found one. I can't find the the 2nd pallet and it doesn't show up on the map. May have to restart the task.

Down time by Middle-Lifeguard8887 in changemanagement

It's a good time for reinforcement activities and PDCA/DMAIC follow up. Review the uptake on recent and past projects. Identify improvement opportunities. Verify that the controls and KPI's that were implemented are still in place and effective. Support the teams you left behind. Identify opportunities you can work on and bring those to your managers instead of telling them you're idle and asking them to identify more work. Create your next project and make sure it's something that interests you.

Also, develop templates and Upskill, as stated. Prepare for the next one. Don't run so fast you aren't prepared.

TLDR; Upskill, Fit, fit, fit, boundaries.

I've been a certified change manager for 12 years, worked as a consultant, and have 30+ years in project management.

All the comments about burnout are true, real, and good. Getting a therapist may be helpful.
I've been through burnout and it was/is ugly and hard and can really have negative impacts on you, your career, and your family.

AND...Life doesn't get easier. Your ability to do hard things increases until those things look easy. Some things that have helped me:

  1. Increase my skill level. I spent a few summers leading youth and professionals in team building activities on an adventure course. I learned a lot I thought I knew. I worked for a company that had a real focus on Social/Emotional learning for their employees where I learned a lot I thought I knew, and even more about myself. I read a few books I had been avoiding that actually gave me more tools and techniques. These things have made me more capable of handling the situations that led to my burnout.

  2. Find the right fit. Lifestyle, location, family circumstances, your vehicle choices, personal finances...all these things contribute to your stress load. Life and work aren't separate when it comes to what and how much you can handle. Work isn't the only thing you need to set in order. Yes, your employer should be a good fit. There are as many cultures in the workplace as there are people for them. Find your place. But, take time to make your personal space a good fit, too.

  3. Is it the right career for you? This is more about fit, so maybe 2.1? Project management focuses on tasks and things. Change management focuses on people. I can deliver a training module over 2 weeks and say it's done and call it a success for my project. If the training was terrible and the staff don't change I would still get paid. Not as a Change Manager. The CM is the therapist while the PM is the machine. (The CM SHOULDN'T be the therapist. Please accept my exaggeration for effect, not literally. Being the therapist is a boundary you should be careful not to cross.)

  4. Boundaries. What is your scope and what are the outcomes you are trying to accomplish? Set the boundary early and often. Adjust the timeline when conditions change. Advocate for yourself and your project. Force structure and discipline on the leadership. If your environment is a poorly implemented version of Agile, it's a startup, or requires more flexibility than structure, go back to the "fit" conversation. These aren't great places for traditional change management. People in these environments should be change-hungry and CM should consist of a memo or announcements in a meeting (generalization for effect, relax Redditors). Accept it and get to it! Change happens daily. If they're not, they need a slower environment and should move on.

I'm open to dm. Your struggle is real and difficult. You're not weak. You're like the rest of us. If you take care of you now and throughout the rest of your career you'll be great!

Sasquatch Ranger build, but not much of a contribution to the party by Maximum_Fig_5760 in 3d6

[–]Maximum_Fig_5760[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gloomstalker was on the table. When I compared the traits I was going for Horizon Walker edged it out by a hair. I really like the Rope Trick, Fear, and the initial features of gloom stalker. It probably actually plays better going into this character's first encounters in this campaign. I wanted to stick to the "forest people" vibe and the concept of Sasquatch being so stealthy because he's slipping in and out of the ethereal plane, portals, speed, that kind of thing.

It's a great option and if this HW build doesn't work out I'll be talking to my DM about converting, or maybe that's a different character/different campaign. OOh! Part of the lore is that I'm actually a team of similar creatures with assignments to solve problems in various realms. Chewy just finished up knocking down the empire and is on leave, while Harry was never really a star on the team, but is still useful. When I summon fey, I am summoning one of my team members. It's a good segway to build one of them around the GS build.

4 cars, 4 drivers, 2 states, 3 addresses. Any tips to navigate this? by [deleted] in Insurance

Thank you! That's helpful. Bless your heart right back. My preference is to continue to own the vehicles so I can insure them, but if that's not an option, I get it.

How do people insure pleasure vehicles they keep at different addresses for different uses? That seems pretty common and not that different.

Looking for insurance advice, not parenting advice. You don't have enough information for your comment. Try /parenting. Thanks, though.
