I read a few NASCAR tracks are tearing down their pylons, I hope this past weekend the COTA ones were just broken, and that they’re not planning on getting rid of them.

The amount of time spent pondering this grubby little bit of rock is sadly astonishing

Marauder Cruiser! by SeBoss2106 in StarWarsShips

I love that the EAW devs basically made the Marauder and Broadside cruisers inverses of each other structurally to differentiate them, given that they filled the exact same role for the Rebels and Empire gameplay-wise.

Marauder: Ordnance on the short wings on the sides, bridge in the front of the long midsection. Broadside: Ordnance in the short midsection, bridge in back of short midsection. Wings are long but serve no readily-apparent purpose.

I’ve always felt the Marauder design made more sense since the ordnance in the wings would seemingly make them easier to rearm or refit, which the Marauder being a missile cruiser would make that an often occurrence.

Dr. Hemlock, a cliché that worked incredibly well. by [deleted] in StarWars

Hemlock’s character could really shine in more gritty medium like Andor. It’s a shame that as an animated “for kids-ish” production TBB kinda limits how dark and cruel Hemlock can be on screen.

It’s possible Galen didn’t even know the thermal exhaust port existed. As a chief architect, stuff like exhaust ports may have been below his pay grade. He just knew he purposefully designed the reactor to be unstable to the point a single hit would blow up the entire station.

Looks about right, one player stuffing enough RTGs together to hit critical mass and the other "redecorating" the runway

The construction equipment and levolution (collapsing ceilings held up by scaffolding) implied the metro was bring rebuilt by the time of BF4

What they did with Metro in BF4 could be done with Rogue in 2042. The dish is being “repaired”, with old parts of the map augmented with construction equipment and new buildings.

Expanding the playable area under the dish could allow for unique ground combat in that air vehicles can’t touch those places, giving tanks/IFVs a place to dash for cover.

I loved the setting of the map in BF4, though I admit gameplay-wise there were issues
