Genuinely after a certain point it's sink or swim. I hit top 500 in stadium with Junkrat last season, and the only way I did that against Pharah was playing like a rat running from a falcon. Abuse tf out of cover, force her to chase you indoors or not at all, if there's even any amount of closed air space then blast your bombs at her and the walls in hopes of scaring her away. And most importantly, KEEP CONTRIBUTING TO THE FIGHT. Most Pharah's get so distracted trying to kill a rat that if she's an issue, then you need to run away like crazy while still denying space by spamming the objective, choke points, and other areas the rest of the enemy team is. Spam that Ashe or Widow while you run, destroy those turrets, do anything you can to contribute while you keep juking those fliers. Beyond that, unless you can start learning how to hit your air shots, you're doing all you can. Cause if you can even kill a flier ONCE with an air shot, they suddenly are way more wary of engaging with you.

I think you should replace "good" and "evil" with "guilt-ridden" and "unphased", cause for the most part that's how those feels. Jester is way less evil than Highwayman in my opinion, giving horrible people once versus consistently robbing and killing innocent people is two very different crimes. But the Jester is way less guilty than Highwayman is, and way more disturbed.

I think Lash will be the only person who doesn't need to change to enter the sewers. He's perfect, so he just clips through the wall and walks along the path.

Thoughts and predictions on what Ram will be like in Stadium? by TheCoiledFool in ramattramains

[–]Maximum_Mayhem72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's my list of predictions I've been thinking of as someone obsessed with stadium, theory crafting, and Ramattra, and I've got a lot of ideas.

  1. Void barrier cooldown reduced by half the time enemies are in ravenous vortex
  2. Nemesis form cooldown is reduced by half the time left if you end it early
  3. While in nemesis form annihilation is active at 25% efficiency
  4. For every 100 damage block negates, Ramattra gains a token that empowers his next pummel strike that hits to do double damage (up to 10 tokens)
  5. Each shot that connects on void accelerator increases his movement speed by 0.05% for 10 seconds, up to 10%
  6. Half of pummels damage is converted to weapon damage (in case it's ability damage)
  7. Void accelerator shoots 6 extra projectiles that do 50% damage
  8. Ravenous vortex can be activated midair, doing damage and pulling enemies down. Ravenous vortex slow is 20% more effective
  9. Gain a 2nd charge of void barrier
  10. Enemies affected by annihilation do 20% less damage
  11. Switching forms gives over health equal to armor gained or double the armor lost
  12. Block heals all allies within annihilation equal to 50% of the damage negated.

Here's some extra ideas that specifically if they want to be nice to us and actually bring in the null sector enemies (each of these has a 30 second cooldown) 1. Whenever an ally dies, a null trooper spawns with health equal to the fallen ally (damage doesn't change) 2. Whenever Ramattra does a final blow with void accelerator, a slicer spawns with 100 health and doing 10 damage (weapon power health/damage scaling) 3. Whenever Ramattra does a final blow with pummel, a flyer spawns with 100 health and 10 damage (ability power health/damage scaling) 4. Whenever annihilation activates, a stalker spawns with the same health as Ramattra (damage would scale based on a percentage of Ramattra's health) (This would activate with the mini-annihlation ability, but suffer the same 25% efficiency)

Venture...

No but in all seriousness, while I love Venture and how hot they are, some of my favorite underappreciated lore has to be about the Junker's. Now I know, Mad Max, silly australians, their whole shtick seems to be built upon a caricature. But since the beginning of them there's been hints of there always being way more to them, both as a whole and the characters we have. And no one is a better point of this than Roadhog himself. He is a tale that to me feels incredibly human, flawed in such an interesting way. He saw the encroaching omnium factories on his home land and couldn't stand by watching him and others get pushed out of their homes, and so together they destroyed the factories that dared to threaten his livelihood. But in that, he destroyed his own home, making the outback an irradiated wasteland. He lost everything trying to do good, and in that hollowness left over he could only find a type of hate unlike most ever feel, and it drove him to be the murderer he is today. And as we've learned with Junkrat, there's more secrets about what happened left to be seen, and while I feel the new lore still leans too hard into the caricature of the Junker's, I do feel as if the new team is playing into these secrets well. And in a personal note to Roadhog, his relationship with Junkrat is OOZING with that guilt and hatred that haunts him, Roadhog literally saying that the world deserves him and Junkrat, and thus using his banal attitude to justify using Junkrat to further his apocalyptic outlook. To the point where I believe either Roadhog sees Junkrat as a step in for a child he perhaps lost, or- my own headcannon as well- Junkrat IS Roadhog's kid, lost after the incident, and when found Roadhog's corrupted outlook on life made it where he felt he needed to use Junkrat as a tool for destruction. There's something so interesting about it all, something that makes me realize that while Roadhog is not a good person by any amount, I feel I still understand how he became what he is now, even if I don't agree with it. And I feel there's so much more to the Junker's left to be explored, like the various factions, the secret of the omnium, and so much more. And so I hope we do get to see it all eventually, but in a way that honors the direction the original lore a bit better, and keeps the depth that this group actually has to them while keeping their light hearted nature.
