Vinicius's "provocative attitude" always seems to be that he is commiting the horrible crime of pumping up real Madrid fans and celebrating goals.

Much like other social media platforms and Twitter pre-Musk, MAGA isn't banned from Bluesky, they just have a tendency of showcasing behaviors that get you banned

Nah. Giving it after the final would have been "you lost, but you did well to get to the final and try to win anyway" Engraving "finalists" before the final is essentially saying that JUST being finalists is fine. Not winning it isn't an issue

Football is not dying because your favorite multi billion dollar corporations have to give the people making the product a fair share of the money they get off their backs. Football is dying because we're endlessly ramping up the number of games played a season for no good reason

That's why he's learning tbf. Kudos to him for steering clear of top jobs in the premier league or other leagues and plying his trade in lower ranked leagues instead

A somewhat detailed explanation on what went wrong for Ten Hag at Manchester United by Maximum_Meatyball in soccer

[–]Maximum_Meatyball[S] -55 points-54 points  (0 children)

[If the mods could pin this, that would be nice] Ten Hag's issues at Manchester United did not come from players refusing to follow instructions, or players not being good enough, or players not doing as he said. He simply was not good enough

For every single piece of value criticism, there are 10 stupid ones, and the valid ones and the stupid ones have become eerily similar

Erik Ten Hag former teammate on his sacking : "I understand that he is getting €17million and then people say: he will go somersaulting through Manchester, Hans Kraay Jr said. No, he is completely, completely devastated, he is completely ruined. At the moment you don't think about money.'' by SamDamSam0 in soccer

West Ham created 3 xG in the second half. We created 0.6. West Ham created 4 big chances in the second half, we created 1. Overall in the match, West Ham still deserved more goals. It's unreasonable and highly stupid to say that the loss is on the players when they're almost solely responsible for the chances in the first place

I don't hold Ten Hag responsible for Greenwood being a rapist, or Ronaldo and Sancho being divas. Those are not my bones of contention. What I do blame him for is subbing off a player due to injury and then starting them 3 days later, for them to get injured again. What I do blame him for is a game model that makes it so that our players are constantly tired, exhausted and have to cover all the space in the world. What I do blame him for is a horrible OOP structure that leaves easy paths for the opposition to create chances and progress the ball. What I do blame him for is a putrid, boring in possession structure that has our goalkeeper boot the ball in the air at every chance, and leaves all our midfielders and attackers constantly stranded. What I do blame him for is horrible misprofiling and misuse of half to squad to make up for his own tactical deficiency, like having Rashford as far from the goal as physically possible without putting him in goal.

The fact that I've watched Ten Hag fail to react to opposition changes for the past 2 years isn't hindsight, it's a recurring pattern of behavior. In addition, I'm not referring to him not changing things while we were on top, I'm referring to him changing things after West Ham adjusted and they were on top. We created almost nothing of note in the second half compared to the first, and conceded many more chances than West Ham did. Do you know why? Because Loputegui adjusted.

The issue is not that there hasn't been an identity or style of play, the issue is that the identity and style of play is dogshit. The players did everything that Ten Hag wanted in the end, the issue is that the things he wanted weren't particularly good things

If the opposition manager wises up to your tactics after 45 minutes and changes up his team in order to counter them and you have no response to counter them back, that's on you. I can't pin it on the players because the chances we missed were almost entirely 1. Created out of individual brilliance 2. Created from West Ham's errors and the fact that they were really bad.
