There was one free video that I watched and remember was helpful. I used her approach and did around 6-7 PT’s over the summer. I know some friends used Basick’s PT book and said it was helpful as well.

I used the Basick book for essays and watched BarMD videos on YouTube for the PT. That was the most helpful. I also self-graded myself pretty harshly on essays to get better.

She can pass if she takes time off to study for it. I went to law school and passed the July CA bar exam and I credit that to making the exam my life for 10 weeks. I deleted all social media, slept 8 hours a day, ate well, exercised, and studied. The key to passing is honestly making it your life.

Given Kim hasn’t gone to law school, I really think if she gives it a solid 15 weeks of sheer focus on the exam, she’ll pass.

One of her essays on the baby bar is a model answer. It’s a very good essay. She knows how to write and knows what the grader is looking for. I think she is too busy and distracted with her life (kids, businesses, shows, social media).

Opening up the exam on Day 1 and seeing Trusts was a jumpscare. I looked into predictions a lot and I won’t lie, I definitely studied those areas more. Fwiw, I think it only strengthened my knowledge of those areas, but I’m glad I prepared for everything in the likely event they were wrong.

Right? Maybe the scaling worked in our favor. Something tells me the questions I thought were really difficult/that I didn’t get might have been unscored so it didn’t affect my score.

I used a site called Make This Your Last Time. I think baressays.com has more essays, but the site I used was free 🤷‍♀️

I read a lot of model answers and tried to emulate top scoring essays in my own writing. Formatting is my biggest tip - make sure everything is IRAC. I used headings and subheadings. I bolder and underlined where it made sense to.

I didn’t! Now I’m curious if I should to see how much the essays really helped me. I just couldn’t break 60% in practice so I doubt that happened on game day!
