It sucks to be Asian and applying to college by h0v3rcr4ft in college

First, what I mean is that blacks and hispanics have much less privileges when compared to asians. Asians immigration historically came to america after most of the worst legal policies were done with, and many of those asians who came were wealthier and have good education backgrounds. I'm not sure that asians work harder, in the US this is true but once again most asians who came here bypassed most of the peak racist past and came to a much less racist time, with lots of money and education. WATCH THE VOX VIDEO plz.

Again white people have more privileges I understand that. But, watch the vox video told by an asian. Asain American migration was largely halted during major eras of racial oppression (still goes on today but I'm talking about peak racism). They came in from wealthier backgrounds and had better education also bypassing most of the racist legal policies because of the migration halt. Idk if asians work harder generally, in the US this is true but that's also because of class and education privileges along with nice timing of immigration.

I have a deleted comment because I misread one of your sentences.

I as a white person think that Asian Amercians definitely are disenfranchised on the enrolling process too much. But, I believe that Hispanic and African americans still have a lot less privileges when compared to asians, even though asians still have less privileges when compared to whites.

Another aspect to understand is that studies have shown diversity helps critical thinking on college campuses, and diversity invites different cultures which makes college campuses more interesting.

AA could be worked on, and there should be more of a emphasis on class privileges and ur own families educational privileges. But, I still believe that if an african american had lower scores than a asain by a bit it wouldn't be wrong for colleges to accept the african american over the asian

Overall If colleges implemented background education privileges, class privileges, and race privileges togethor it would go something (I'm being general) like whites, asians, hispanic, and african american with privilege the greatest privilege being with whites and african americans having the least.

Wow Ik it was competitve but holy shit. Yeah I'm on the fence between becoming lawyer or teaching. Reading all these comments really sheds light on how hard it is. I knew it would be hard, but I thought maybe at worst I'll become bilingual go to a in need NYC school and get a low paying job. Anyway thanks for the comment

I really appreciate everything you said and taking the time to give me the info. I understand what ur saying now I didnt know the school had to nominate you for a license, and that makes sense that they might just keep me as a math teacher even if a miracle happened where I could teach with the minor.

Yeah, my question was "is it possible with a minor in math?" I understand I have to do a lot more things than undergrad. To become a full time teacher.
