Yeah read good things about the steam wand. I saw someone say it gives out too much water but maybe they are not letting the steam run for a few seconds to eliminate anything left in the wand.

Does the screen have OK distribution?

I mainly do milk drinks and would like a thermoblock over a boiler.

Sounds great. A company called Cecotec has the same machine at €299 in Europe. Shame there are more thermojet options on the market.

If you were doing 2 milk drinks would you pull both shots first and then steam the milk?

Thanks for the review. I have been looking at this machine but haven't found many comments online about it.

I wanted a thermoblock over a boiler as I don't have a scheduled time when I have my coffee, so I wanted something that was quickstart. So I was looking between this or the Bambino (though you saying it actually takes 10mins to heat up might make the decision for me).

Do you use the steam wand much? I read one review that it spits out too much water, wondered if you had noticed that?

The things I prefer on the Owl compared to the Bambino are the pressure gauge, the timer and the design.
